Abstract

 母材が高い強度と優れた靭性とをともに有するとともに溶接金属も優れた靭性を有する、例えばAPI規格X100グレード相当以上のベンド管を提供する。  熱間圧延した後に700~500°Cで5°C/sec未満となる板厚方向中心部の冷却速度で冷却することにより厚鋼板を製造し、この厚鋼板を素材とする溶接鋼管であるベンド素管を製造し、このベンド素管を900~1100°Cに加熱して曲げ加工した後、700~500°Cで5°C/sec以上の肉厚方向中心部の冷却速度で300°C以下の温度域まで冷却し、その後300~500°Cで焼き戻すことにより、API規格X100グレード相当以上のベンド管を製造する。
