Abstract

 ガラス板の製造工程で生じた廃棄ガラス板を回収する際に、当該廃棄ガラス板の破損によって生じるガラス粉が切断室内に浮遊するという事態を抑制する。  溶融ガラスAを成形体2に供給すると共に、成形体2から溶融ガラスAを上下方向に延びる搬送経路上に流下させて板状のガラスリボンBを成形し、このガラスリボンBを搬送経路上に設けられた切断室6で所定寸法に切断してガラス基板Cを製造するガラス板製造設備1であって、切断室6の床面に落下口8を設けると共に、切断室6の階下に回収室7を設け、切断されたガラス基板Cのうち、廃棄ガラス基板を落下口8から回収室7内に落下させて回収するように構成した。
