Abstract

 半導体レーザ1からの出射光は回折光学素子3によりメインビームおよび2つのサブビームに分割され、ディスク7の記録層に集光される。ディスク7の記録層で反射されたメインビームの反射光および2つのサブビームの反射光は位相フィルタ11を透過し、光検出器10で受光される。位相フィルタ11は、光軸を通りディスク7の情報トラックの方向に対応する直線で隔てられた第一の領域と第二の領域とを有し、第一の領域を透過する光と第二の領域を透過する光との間に180°の位相差を与える。光検出器10からの出力に基づいて差動プッシュプル信号が演算される。
