Abstract

 モールドプレス成形装置(1)では、上母型(5)に胴型(4)を支持し、胴型(4)には、上下に移動可能で上母型(5)に移動が規制されない状態で上型(2)を支持し、下型(3)を上昇させて胴型(4)に組み込みガラス素材PFにプレス荷重を加える前までは、胴型(4)、上型(2)を上母型(5)に対して移動可能な状態に保持するので、これらの間に擦れやかじりが生じない。胴型(4)に下型(3)を挿入すると胴型(4)の下端面(4g)が下型(3)に当接して、これらが傾き無く位置決めされた状態になる。よって、プレス成形開始後は上下型(2、3)および胴型(4)が正しい姿勢に維持され、この状態でプレス成形される。プレス成形終了時には胴型(4)にもプレス荷重が作用して成形型の位置決め状態が保持される。これによって、高精度の光学素子などの成形体を効率良く安定して製造できる。
