Abstract
本発明は、ガラス成形品の大小に関わらず、長時間、安定して製造できるフュージョン法を利用するガラス製造装置の成形部及びそれを用いたガラス成形品の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。 本発明に係るガラス製造装置の成形部は、フュージョン法を利用してガラス成形品を製造するときに用いられるガラス製造装置の成形部1において、溶融ガラスとの接触部分がイリジウム又はイリジウム合金で形成され、かつ、前記イリジウム又はイリジウム合金からなる部分の表面のうち前記溶融ガラスと接触していない表面部分と大気との接触を遮断する大気遮蔽手段を有することを特徴とする。
