Abstract
本発明では、2つの開口面および外周面を有し、前記2つの開口面間に延在するセルがセル壁によって区画されたセラミックブロックを有する触媒担持体であって、前記セラミックブロックは、組み合わされた際に、該セラミックブロックの外周部を構成する外周側ハニカムユニットと、前記セラミックブロックの中央部を構成する中央側ハニカムユニットとを、接着層を介して組み合わせることにより形成され、前記外周側ハニカムユニットは、該ハニカムユニットの外周面を構成する外周セル壁を有し、該外周セル壁は、前記セラミックブロックとして組み合わされた際に、該セラミックブロックの外周面を形成する最外周セル壁を有し、前記外周側ハニカムユニットは、前記最外周セル壁と接するセルの、前記最外周セル壁と接する側のコーナー部が曲面化されていることを特徴とする触媒担持体が提供される。
