Abstract

流動性が良好であるだけでなく、帯電付与に必要な適切な表面凹凸を有し、かつ長時間にわたる攪拌ストレスの影響下でも粒子の割れ・欠けが発生しない二成分系電子写真用現像剤用キャリアを提供する。 粒子表面に、互いに重なり合いながら複数方向にほぼ連続的に延びる縞模様状の隆起部分を有し、縞模様状の隆起部分が形成された表面が、粒子全表面の80%以上を占める。隣接する隆起部分間の溝の深さが0.05μm以上0.2μm以下であり、平均表面粗さRaが0.1μm以上0.3μm以下であり、円形度が0.90以上、平均粒径が15μm以上100μm以下であるキャリア芯材に樹脂コートをおこなって二成分系電子写真用現像剤用キャリアとする。
