Abstract

 一般式(1)で表されるピレン化合物を含有する発光素子材料により、高効率かつ耐久性に優れた発光素子を可能にする発光素子材料、およびこれを用いた発光素子を提供すること。 (R1~R17はそれぞれ同じでも異なっていてもよく、水素、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、複素環基、アルコキシ基、アルキルチオ基、アリールエーテル基、アリールチオエーテル基、アリール基、ヘテロアリール基、アミノ基、シリル基、-P(=O)R18R19、並びに隣接置換基との間に形成される環構造からなる群から選ばれる。R18およびR19は、アリール基およびヘテロアリール基の中から選ばれる。nは1~2の整数である。Xは単結合、もしくはアリーレン基、ヘテロアリーレン基の群から選択される。但し、R10~R17のうちいずれか一つはXとの連結に用いられる。)
