Abstract

　膨張したエアバッグの下部にチャイルドシート等の物体が接触した場合にも、開閉型ベントホールが開又は大開度となるエアバッグ及びエアバッグ装置。蓋部材２０がエアバッグ１０の外部側から開閉型ベントホール１１を覆っている。上側常開型ベントホール１２及びエアバッグ１０の内部を通って、上側テザー３０が蓋部材とエアバッグ１０の乗員対向面１０ｆとを繋いでいる。また、下側常開型ベントホール１３及びエアバッグ１０の内部を通って、下側テザー３１が蓋部材とエアバッグ１０の下部１０ｂとを繋いでいる。エアバッグ１０の乗員対向面１０ｆに乗員が接触すると、上側テザー３０が弛んで蓋部材２０が捲れ、開閉型ベントホール１１が開となる。また、エアバッグ１０の下部１０ｂにチャイルドシート６が接触すると、下側テザー３１が弛んで蓋部材２０が捲れ、開閉型ベントホール１１が開となる。
