Abstract

 本実施形態は、容量密度が高く、かつ大きな電流を取り出すことができる電極活物質と導電付与剤の複合体、その製造方法、および、エネルギー密度が高く、かつ大きな出力をだすことができる電池を提供する。具体的には、電極活物質としてのポリラジカル化合物と、導電性物質とを、ポリラジカル化合物の軟化温度以上分解温度未満で加熱混合する処理を行うことにより、ポリラジカル化合物と導電性物質の複合体を形成し、これを用いて電極を作製することにより、高エネルギー密度かつ大出力の新規な電池を提供することができる。
