Abstract

 カーボンナノホーン(CNH)100を酸化処理してCNH100の側面を開孔する。次に、この開孔部からCNH100内部に金属などの内包物質102を取り込む。次いで、真空または不活性ガス中での加熱処理により内包物質102をカーボンナノホーン100の先端部に移動させる。さらに、低濃度の酸素雰囲気中の加熱処理により内包物質102の触媒効果を利用して先端部のカーボン層を取り除き、内包物質102の表面を露出させる。真空または不活性ガス中での熱処理をすることにより金属が先端部に移動しない内包物質102の場合には、触媒微粒子を覆っている周囲のカーボン部分を触媒作用を利用し低濃度の酸素雰囲気中の加熱処理により特異的に燃焼させ、CNH100先端部に触媒微粒子を固定化する。
