  • the movable member 165 may be unintentionally moved to its introduction position (See FIGS. 3 and 14) under any unexpected situations, for example, if any obstacles are jammed between the slide and the self-closing device.
  • the self-closing device according to the present invention is capable of returning its normal operating state despite the above abnormal situation.
  • the drawer is not allowed to be automatically moved to its introduction position even if the drawer is pushed.
  • the detachable-coupling latch 25 of the movable rail 20 meets with the oblique-profiled surface 149 extended from the first holding portion 142 of the latch holding structure 141, thereby applying a force onto the oblique-profiled surface 149.
  • the rotational movement member 140 is forcibly pushed in a direction designated by the arrow A.
  • the first protrusion 144 of the rotational movement member 140 pushes the flexible bar 129, formed in the ceiling surface 127 of the movable member positioning portion 120 of the housing 110, toward the direction of the arrow A. Since the first space 130 and the second space 131 are formed at opposite sides of the flexible bar 129, the flexible bar 129 is elastically bent into the second space 131. Simultaneously, the detachable-coupling latch 25 passes over the oblique-profiled surface 149, and is again be caught by the latch holding structure 141. In this way, the self- closing device can restore its normal operating state for preparing the pulling-out of the drawer.
