Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Fokussier- und Positionierhilfseinrichtung für ein teilchenoptisches Rastermikroskop, ein teilchenoptisches Rastermikroskop mit einer entsprechenden Positionierhilfe, sowie ein Verfahren zur Fokussierung und Positionierung eines Objekts in einem teilchenoptischen Rastermikroskop. Die Fokussier- und Positionierhilfseinrichtung umfasst eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung, die einen kollimierten oder fokussierten Lichtstrahl unter einem Winkel (a) zur teilchenoptischen Strahlachse erzeugt (7), der die teilchenoptische Strahlachse an einer vordefinierten Position schneidet, eine für die Wellenlänge des Lichtstrahls sensitive Kamera (21), mit der ein Bild eines auf dem Objekttisch (11) positionierten Objekts unter einem zweiten Winkel (b) relativ zur teilchenoptischen Strahlachse aufgenommen wird, ein Display (26), und eine Steuerungseinrichtung (27) für die Erzeugung eines mit der Kamera aufgenommenen Bildes auf dem Display zusammen mit einer Markierung, die die Lage der teilchenoptischen Strahlachse in dem Bild anzeigt.
