Abstract

The invention concerns a component designed for a building partition or wall, consisting of at least one covering layer and one insulating material element made of mineral fibers, preferably rock wool, in the form of a panel or strip and comprising two large surfaces mutually spaced apart. The covering layer is arranged on one large surface and the insulating material element made of mineral fibers deposited in meanders, ribbons substantially perpendicular to the large surface, mutually linked in the zone of one large surface via deflection zones, the mineral fibers being perpendicular to the large surfaces of the element made of insulating material in the ribbons and inclined even parallel relative thereto in the deflection zones. The invention aims at producing such a component capable of being economically manufactured without undue cuts, providing simply, high pressure resistance at the element made of insulating material.
