Definitions

  • the invention relates to a closure element for bottles according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Closure elements of the type mentioned here are known. They are used in particular in bottles with high-quality contents, especially those made of glass. A sealing element is provided to ensure that the contents of the bottles are sealed. After closure at the manufacturer, closure elements of the type mentioned here are generally secured, for example by a plastic or aluminum cap that holds the closure element on the bottle. After the first opening, ie also the removal of the cap, the closure element is held in place by the friction prevailing between the sealing element and the bottle. If the pressure inside the bottle rises, it can therefore happen that the closure element is pushed out of the mouth area of the bottle so that it loses its hold and possibly falls off completely. The object of the invention is therefore to provide a closure element for bottles which does not have this disadvantage.

It is essential that there is no seal of the interior of the bottle here, so that a pressure that builds up here acts up to the sealing bead 13.

This alone shows a consumer that the closure element has been displaced in the bottle due to internal pressure. In the case of non-gassing content, this shift could be used as an indication that the content has spoiled and is fermenting.
