L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de pâte de bambou pour la production de diacétate de cellulose, comportant les étapes suivantes: préparation des pâtes, pré-hydrolyse, digestion, battage, traitement alcalin, blanchiment, séchage etc. Ledit procédé peut également employé dans la production d'autres fibres. La pâte de bambou obtenue selon l'invention présente une teneur élevée en alpha cellulose. La présente invention permet de résoudre les problèmes habituels tels qu'une faible teneur en alpha cellulose, un faible degré de polymérisation, des coûts élevés etc.
