Abstract

Selon l'invention, un aéronef de vol stationnaire utilise un moteur à impulsion d'air qui comprend un conduit de passage d'air et un rotor dont les extrémités extérieures des pales sont fixées à un disque d'impulsion annulaire entraîné par des éléments à induction magnétique disposés en réseau dans le conduit de passage d'air. De préférence, le moteur à impulsion d'air utilise des rotors doubles, coaxiaux, contra-rotatifs destinés à assurer une poussée et une stabilité gyroscopique améliorées. Un ensemble ailette d'air dirige une partie de l'air de poussée émis à un angle désiré afin d'obtenir une composante de poussée horizontale pour les manoeuvres de vol ou les mouvements de déplacement. L'aéronef peut utiliser un seul moteur dans un fuselage annulaire, deux moteurs sur un châssis de fuselage longitudinal, trois moteurs dans un agencement triangulaire pour une stabilité de vol vers l'avant, ou d'autres agencements à moteurs multiples dans une configuration équilibrée, symétrique. D'autre mécanismes de commande de vol peuvent être utilisés, notamment des ailettes marginales latérales, une aile verticale, et/ou des gouvernes de direction ou des volets hypersustentateurs. Un système de commande de vol intégré peut être utilisé afin d'activer les divers mécanismes de commande de vol. Le courant électrique est fourni aux propulseurs à induction magnétique par des batteries légères ou des piles à combustibles à haute capacité. Ledit aéronef de vol stationnaire est particulièrement apte à être utilisé dans des applications faisant appel à la fonction VTOL, dans des opérations de vol stationnaire pour une surveillance silencieuse, pour les manoeuvres dans des espaces aériens fermés, et pour des vols de longue durée destinés à assurer une surveillance continue de cibles terrestres et d'installations importantes nécessitant une surveillance constante.
