Abstract

La présente invention concerne un châssis porteur pour un véhicule utilitaire, notamment pour un tracteur de semi-remorque. Ce châssis porteur comprend une partie avant (14), une partie médiane (16) et une partie arrière (18). Selon cette invention, la partie médiane présente, telle un treillis, au moins deux membrures supérieures et au moins deux membrures inférieures et forme, vue dans la direction longitudinale du véhicule, une section transversale en forme de caisse et la partie avant et la partie arrière présentent, telles un châssis conducteur, un segment de support longitudinal droit et gauche (20, 22, 26, 28).
