Abstract

Eine Rotationskolbenmaschine weist in einem Gehäuse (10) eine prismatischen Kammer (12) auf, deren Querschnitt ein Oval bildet. In der Kammer (12) ist ein Rotationskolben (22) beweglich, dessen Querschnitt ebenfalls ein Oval bildet. Die Ordnung des Ovals de Kammer (12) ist um eins geringer ist als die Ordnung des Ovals des Rotationskolbens(22). Der Rotationskolben (22) dreht sich abwechselnd in aufeinanderfolgende Bewegungsabschnitten um unterschiedliche Drehachsen jeweils von einer Anschlagstellung zur nächsten. Bei seiner Drehbewegung liegt der Rotationskolben in jeder Position an der Innenwandung der Kammer (22) unter Bildung von zwei Arbeitsräumen (80,82) an. Der Rotationskolben (22) weist einen mit einer Innenverzahnung (56) versehenen Durchbruch (36) auf, dessen Innenverzahnung (56) mit einer Verzahnungsanordnung für den An- oder Abtrieb der Drehbewegung in Eingriff ist. Der Durchbruch (36) ist dem Rotationskolben (22) im wesentlichen mathematisch ähnlich ist, wobei die Symmetrieebenen (50,52,54) des Durchbruchs (36) mit denen des Rotationskolbens (22) zusammenfallen. Die Verzahnungsanordnung weist ein Paar mit Aussenverzahnung (74,76) versehene, gehäusefest gelagerte Wellen (70,72) auf, deren Außenverzahnungen (74,76) mit der Innenverzahnung (56) des Durchbruchs (36) in Eingriff sind, wobei in jedem Bewegungsabschnitt jeweils die eine Welle (z.B. 70) im Bereich eines Abschnitts (38) des Durchbruchs mit kleinerem Krümmungsradius und die andere Welle (72) im Bereich eines Abschnitts (46) mit grösserem Krümmungsradius angeordnet ist und die Wellen (70,72) in aufeinanderfolgenden Bewegungsabschnitten ihre Rollen vertauschen.
