Abstract

The invention relates to multi-purpose integrated thermoacoustic brickwork of the type used in general construction. The inventive brickwork is characterised in that it is mainly produced from clay using standard moulds in order to provide different solutions in terms of false facing bricks, housings for heating ducts, electrical lines, etc., partitions, main walls, surfaces for roofs, facing brick panels which are connected to the brick using a variety of metal or plastic elements. In all applications, the invention consists in using a tongue-and-groove system of protrusions and recesses which are used to join one brick to another and surfaces with a layer of gypsum and cement, and filling the middle of the brick with an insulating material which is injected or takes the form of a panel, in order to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation conditions. The main advantage offered by the invention lies in the optimisation of work processes, owing to the handling qualities thereof, which produces a substantial reduction in costs.
