- the garniture tape is wrapped around the drive drum, and runs as the drive drum rotates. Further, the garniture tape is given a certain tension by a tensioner. The tension of the garniture tape strongly tightens the garniture tape on the outer peripheral surface of the drive drum, and prevents the garniture tape from slipping due to the rotation of the drive drum.
