Definitions

  • the invention relates to a medical instrument, such as a wound hook, brain spatula, muscle spreader, vaginal speculum and the like, with a working part engaging on the body of the patient to be operated on or examined to keep an intervention site open, the working part having a lighting device on the front for illuminating the intervention site ,

  • a disadvantage of these known medical instruments is, inter alia, that the light intensity of such light bulbs is relatively low and their use in medical instruments is generally not sufficient to keep an intervention site open for illuminating the intervention sites. Abstract
