Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un oxyde à base de zirconium et de titane dans lequel on forme un milieu liquide contenant un composé du zirconium et un composé de titane; puis on chauffe ledit milieu; on récupère le précipité obtenu à l'issue de l'étape précédente et on calcine éventuellement ce précipité.L'invention concerne aussi un oxyde à base de zirconium et de titane. Cet oxyde peut comprendre entre 30% et 40% en poids d'oxyde de titane et il présente dans ce cas une structure de type ZrTiO4 pure ou un mélange de phases de structure type ZrTiO4 et de structure type anatase. Cet oxyde peut aussi comprendre entre 10% et 20% en poids d'oxyde de titane et il présente alors une surface spécifique après calcination 5 heures à 800°C d'au moins 40 m2/g.
