Abstract

Ein Gasmessfühler zum Nachweis mindestens einer physikalischen Grösse eines Gases, insbesondere von Abgasen eines Verbrennungsmotors, der ein Sensorelement (10, 110) mit einer elektrochemischen Zelle enthält. Die elektrochemische Zelle umfasst einen ersten Festelektrolytkörper (21, 121), auf dem eine erste Elektrode (41, 141, 241) und eine zweite Elektrode (42, 142) aufgebracht sind. Die erste und die zweite Elektrode (41, 141, 241, 42, 142) durch den ersten Festelektrolytkörper (21, 121) elektrisch verbunden. Die erste Elektrode (41, 141, 241) steht in Kontakt zu dem Gas. Die Fläche der ersten Elektrode (41, 141, 241) ist kleiner als die Fläche der zweiten Elektrode (42, 142).
