Description

Soft Alcoholic Cocktail
The present invention relates to food industry, more particularly, to the production of beverages, and can be used in the production of soft alcoholic beverages that contain flavoring and aromatic agents, for example, soft alcoholic drinks with the taste and flavor of gin.
Gin is a strong (40-55 vol. %) alcoholic cocktail produced by the distillation of crude rye alcohol with dried juniper berries and various brand dependent flavoring additions.
Since the old times gin has been used as an ingredient of various alcoholic cocktails, in particular, the world famous Gin&Tonic cocktail.
However, the high cost of natural high quality gin puts limits on its general application in the production of cocktails, especially soft alcoholic cocktails. It has been suggested for these applications to use cheaper and more available high quality ethyl alcohol with natural or identical to natural flavorings that have both the taste and smell of gin.
Known is soft alcoholic soda cocktail (RU Patent # 2081161, 1997) containing (per 100 decaliters)
