Abstract

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zum Beschichten von Partikeln (10) mit einem Behälter (12), der einen gelochten Anströmboden (14) aufweist, durch den von unten nach oben strömendes Prozessgas (15) zuführbar ist, mit mindestens einem mit Abstand zum Anströmboden in dem Behälter angeordneten Steigrohr (24), das mit seinem oberen Ende zum Behälter offen ist, und in dessen unteres Ende eine Sprühdüse (18) zum Einsprühen von Beschichtungsmaterial in das Steigrohr gerichtet ist, vorgeschlagen. Innerhalb des Steigrohres wird eine Beschichtungszone (32) und ausserhalb des Steigrohres eine Rückführzone (37) gebildet. In oder an dem Behälter sind in der Nähe des gelochten Anströmbodens Mittel zur Stützgaszufuhr (62) vorgesehen, die einen Stützgasstrom mit mindestens einer seitlich von aussen nach innen gerichteter Strömungskomponente in Richtung des Spaltes zur Bildung einer Gasgleitschicht und zum Transport der Partikel zwischen der Rückführzone und der Beschichtungszone in einem gerichteten Partikelfluss einleiten und/oder im unteren Bereich des Behälters sind Mittel (22, 120) zum konstruktiven Ausformen angeordnet, die einen Übergangskanal zwischen Rückführzone und Beschichtungszone mit im Wesentlichen stetigen Begrenzungsflächen bilden.
