Description
[0001]本特許出願は、参照により組み込まれる、2012年10月12日に出願された米国特許出願第61/713,305号明細書の利益を主張するものである。
Claims (10)
- 粒子の表面に液体をコーティングするための流動層コーティング装置において、
コーティングされる粒子を受容するためのコーティング室を画定する容器であって、前記コーティング室の下側に処理空気を流通させるために、処理空気供給部に接続する為の処理空気入口を有する、前記容器と、
前記コーティング室の上側にあるフィルタと、
コーティング液体を前記コーティング室内へ上方に噴霧するために前記コーティング室の下側から前記コーティング室に向かって上方に突出するコーティング液体スプレーノズルと、
前記液体スプレーノズルの吐出端部に対して直立する関係で配置され、前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルから噴霧されたコーティング液体が内部に向けられる、中空の分離器と、
を備え、
前記処理空気入口は、コーティングされる前記粒子が、前記分離器を通って前記コーティング室のアップ層領域へ上方に、次いで前記分離器の外方の前記コーティング室のダウン層領域を通って下方に、前記分離器内に戻り前記分離器を通るように循環されるべく、上昇処理空気流を向けるように作用可能であり、
前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルが、コーティング液体供給路を有するハウジングを含み、前記コーティング液体供給路は、コーティング液体供給部に接続する為に、上流側端部コーティング流体入口を備え、前記ハウジングを通って延び、
前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルは、超音波噴霧器を含み、前記超音波噴霧器は、
超音波ドライバと、前記ハウジングの下流側端部に隣接して支持されるカニューレ状の噴霧ステムとを有し、前記カニューレ状の噴霧ステムが、噴霧面で終端しており、コーティング液体を前記噴霧面に向けるために、前記ハウジングの液体供給路と連通する前記噴霧ステムの軸線に沿って延びるコーティング液体流路を有しており、前記噴霧面に向けられたコーティング液体が、微細液体粒子雲に霧化されるように、前記噴霧面を振動させるように前記超音波ドライバが電気的に作動され、
前記ハウジングは、形成空気供給部に接続する為に上流側形成空気入口を備えた形成空気通路を有し、前記ハウジングの下流側端部に取り付けられた空気キャップは、前記形成空気通路と流体流通する空気室を前記噴霧ステムの周りに画定し、前記空気キャップおよび噴霧ステムは、前記空気室と流通する形成空気吐出オリフィスを画定し、超音波で微細に霧化された液体粒子雲を、フィルタの目詰まりを伴わず、良好に画定され制御されたパターンに形成させるための空気ストリームが、前記コーティング室の前記アップ層領域内の粒子の最適な相互作用およびコーティングの為に、前記形成空気吐出オリフィスから放出され、
前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルは、前記超音波ドライバを囲む環状空洞を有し、前記ノズルのハウジングは、冷却空気供給部と結合する為に、前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルの動作中、前記超音波ドライバを冷却する前記環状空洞に冷却空気を向ける為に、上流側空気入口を備えた冷却空気通路を有する、流動層コーティング装置。 - 前記空気キャップが、超音波で霧化された前記微細液体粒子雲を円錐形スプレーパターンに形成するとともに前記液体粒子を前記分離器に通して推進させる形で、加圧空気を前記コーティング室内へ回転旋回方向に向けるために構成される、請求項1に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記処理空気入口と前記コーティング室の下端部との間に配置されたオリフィス板を含み、前記オリフィス板には、比較的大量の処理空気を前記分離器に通して上方に流通させるための内側配列のオリフィスと、比較的低い圧力の空気流を前記分離器の外周面の周りに向けるための、前記分離器の外方の第2の配列のオリフィスと、が形成される、請求項2に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記内側配列のオリフィスのサイズが前記第2の配列のオリフィスのサイズよりも大きい、請求項3に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルが、前記オリフィス板の中心開口に心合せされた関係で、前記空気キャップを前記中心開口の外方に突出させて配置される、請求項3に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記空気キャップが、前記中心開口を貫通して突出する円錐台形端部を有する、請求項5に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記オリフィス板が、前記容器の側壁におけるコーティング済み粒子の蓄積を防止する外側環状空気流を前記コーティング室内に向けるために、前記第2の配列のオリフィスよりも大きいサイズの第3の最外環状配列のオリフィスを含む、請求項3に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記ノズルのハウジングが、空気を前記環状空洞から出口ポートまで流通させるための、前記環状空洞と連通する戻り空気通路を含む、請求項1に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記処理空気供給部に結合する為に、処理空気を前記処理空気入口に供給する為に前記容器の下側に配置された処理空気プレナムを含み、前記ノズルのハウジングは、前記空気プレナムを貫通して延びる、請求項1に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
- 前記コーティング液体スプレーノズルは、前記処理空気プレナムの下方外側に配置され入口本体部を有し、前記形成空気入口、コーティング液体入口、冷却空気入口は、前記入口本体部と連通する、請求項9に記載の流動層コーティング装置。
