Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Kunststoffummantelung von durch Rundschweißnähte (1) hergestellten Verbindungen einer Rohrleitung aus Stahlrohren (2a, 2b), die mit einer werksseitig hergestellten Kunststoffisolierung (3a, 3b) versehen sind und im Bereich der Rundschweißnaht (1) durch Spritzgießen nachisoliert werden, mit einem an eine Spritzgießeinrichtung anschließbaren geteilten und im Bereich der Schweißnaht manschettenartig um die Stahlrohre (2a, 2b) herum in der Weise leg- und befestigbaren Spritzgießwerkzeug (4), das das Spritzgießwerkzeug (4) jeweils das Ende der werksseitigen Kunststoffisolierung (3a, 3b) der beiden miteinander verschweißten Stahlrohre (2a, 2b) überdeckt, wobei das Spritzgießwerkzeug (4) zumindest im axialen Bereich zwischen den werksseitigen Kunststoffisolierungen einen Innendurchmesser (3a, 3b), der dem Außendurchmesser der zu erzeugenden Kunststoffummantelung im Schweißnahtbereich entspricht, und an seinen stirnseitigen Enden (5a, 5b) einen dem Außendurchmesser der werksseitigen Kunststoffisolierung (2a, 2b) entsprechenden Innendurchmesser aufweist. Dabei ist im Bereich der stirnseitigen Enden (5a, 5b) des Spritzgießwerkzeugs (4) jeweils eine in Umfangsrichtung verlaufende Kühleinrichtung (6a, 6b) angeordnet ist.
