Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de particules polymères de nanoencapsulation contenant des creux consistant à polymériser en émulsion un noyau à partir d'un système noyau monomère constitué d'au moins un monomère insaturé à fonction acide éventuellement en présence de graines de latex, puis à encapsuler ce noyau avec une capsule dure par polymérisation en émulsion d'un système paroi monomère contenant au moins un ester vinylique aromatique et/ou carboxylique insaturé en présence de ce noyau et finalement à faire gonfler à une température élevée les particules polymères de nanoencapsulation obtenues avec une base volatile, les parois monomères, un inhibiteur de radical et un tensioactif non ionique. Les parois monomères chargées à l'étape de gonflement sont ensuite polymérisées pour obtenir une dispersion aqueuse de particules qui, une fois séchées, présentent des microcreux entraînant l'opacité des compositions. Les particules de nanoencapsulation ainsi obtenues sont utilisées dans les revêtements opaques et brillants.
