  • the present invention relates to striking windows or French windows, with hidden opening (s), both French 'Jia, tilt and turn windows and French windows. In the rest of the text, except in particulars, only the term window will be used in priority.
  • the invention provides for this type of window, a glazing system which offers multiple possibilities in terms of thermal and / or acoustic insulation both in direct insulation which depends on the glazing used, and indirect by the combination of said glazing with additional means capable of forming a screen.
  • the invention applies to striking windows or French doors with hidden opening (s) provided with an external glazing and an internal glazing which are spaced apart by the frame of the opening, which glazings are monolithic or insulating, and they are respectively either housed in a rebate of said frame with or without glazing bead, or bonded to the outside and / or as the case may be, the inside of the opening frame.
  • the present invention provides, for this type of window, means which make it possible to solve these pressure balancing problems while retaining optimum thermal and sound insulation.
  • the window or French window comprises means which consist of at least one orifice arranged in the frame of the opening, which orifice opens into the interleaving zone and into the peripheral chamber which is bounded by said frame and the frame and, this peripheral room communicates, by appropriate means, with the external atmosphere of the window or French window.
  • the balancing of the pressures between the interleaving zone and the outside is obtained by a correct definition of the section of the orifice (s) placed in the opening.
  • This balancing of well-defined pressures makes it possible to combine, in addition, good thermal and sound insulation and also makes it possible to mitigate the risks of fogging.
  • the means of communication between the peripheral chamber and the external atmosphere of the window or French window consist of a peripheral or punctual passage, between the external beat of the frame and the opening.

Abstract

The invention concerns a window or French window having concealed operating sash(es) comprising an outer glazing (7) and an inner glazing (9). The zone (Z) between said glazing panels communicates with the window outside part through a passage in the window case (1) and orifices (13) in the operating sash (4). A sealing pipe or duct can be interposed in the space between the case and the opening sash at the communicating orifices, which pipe consists for example of plastic parts (16, 17) whereof one is integral with the case and the other with the operating sash with sealing contact between the two. Preferably, the space between the outer glazing (7) and the inner glazing (9) is sufficient for housing a masking device such as a blind with blades or the like. Moreover, the opening sash (4) can consist of two modules assembled in the zone between the glazing panels: an inner module (140) bearing the inner glazing (9) and an outer module (141) bearing the outer glazing (7); the outer module is provided with communicating orifices and is fixed on said inner module, supported on the window case (1) fixed frame (5).

Description

The present invention relates to striking windows or French windows, with hidden opening (s), both French 'Jia, tilt and turn windows and French windows. In the rest of the text, except in particulars, only the term window will be used in priority.
These windows have the particularity of offering an original appearance. Indeed, a person who looks at this type of window from the outside of the building, and from the front, does not see the frame of the opening frame; the latter is hidden and fits totally or practically totally within the frame.
The invention provides for this type of window, a glazing system which offers multiple possibilities in terms of thermal and / or acoustic insulation both in direct insulation which depends on the glazing used, and indirect by the combination of said glazing with additional means capable of forming a screen.
The invention applies to striking windows or French doors with hidden opening (s) provided with an external glazing and an internal glazing which are spaced apart by the frame of the opening, which glazings are monolithic or insulating, and they are respectively either housed in a rebate of said frame with or without glazing bead, or bonded to the outside and / or as the case may be, the inside of the opening frame.
To limit the phenomena of deformation of the glazing, it is necessary, as described in document EP-576,867, to carry out pressure balancing between the interleaving zone and the outside of this zone.
The present invention provides, for this type of window, means which make it possible to solve these pressure balancing problems while retaining optimum thermal and sound insulation.
To achieve pressure balancing, the window or French window according to the invention comprises means which consist of at least one orifice arranged in the frame of the opening, which orifice opens into the interleaving zone and into the peripheral chamber which is bounded by said frame and the frame and, this peripheral room communicates, by appropriate means, with the external atmosphere of the window or French window.
The balancing of the pressures between the interleaving zone and the outside is obtained by a correct definition of the section of the orifice (s) placed in the opening. This balancing of well-defined pressures makes it possible to combine, in addition, good thermal and sound insulation and also makes it possible to mitigate the risks of fogging.
According to a first arrangement of the invention, the means of communication between the peripheral chamber and the external atmosphere of the window or French window consist of a peripheral or punctual passage, between the external beat of the frame and the opening.
According to another arrangement of the invention, which constitutes a variant, the means for bringing the peripheral chamber into communication with the external atmosphere of the window or French window, consist of at least one orifice arranged in the frame , for example in the lower cross member of the latter.
According to a preferred arrangement of the invention, the orifice or orifices arranged in the frame are arranged in a return which extends to the lower part of the wing forming the external battue of said frame, which return is arranged to avoid introduction of water through said opening (s).
Still according to the invention, the orifices arranged in the frame and in the opening are preferably arranged opposite.
The internal part of the opening of this window is particularly watertight with very tight glazing joints on the rebate and glazing bead sides, and assemblies of perfect angles and profiles, to avoid any air passage between the interior of the building and the interleaving area.
Still according to the invention, the window comprises, in the opening (s) of the opening, an adjusted and locked sheath, which sheath may include a filter element. According to another arrangement of the invention, the orifices arranged in the frame and in the opening, are arranged opposite and, according to a complementary arrangement of the invention, means acting as watertight conduits are interposed between said orifices arranged vis-à-vis, which means consist for example of parts of molded plastic material, integrated and fixed by any suitable means on the sections constituting said opening and said frame; these parts comprise, at their visible part when the window is open, a partition pierced with an orifice for the passage of air, which partition is arranged so that the surfaces of said visible parts are contiguous placing said orifices in correspondence when the window is closed, in order to ensure continuity between said orifices of the frame and of the opening, that is to say constant communication between the interleaving area and the outside of the window.
Still according to the invention, the part fixed to the opening has a ramp at its lower upstream part which cooperates with a bevelled edge arranged at the entrance to the fixed part integral with the frame, which ramp and which edge allow to guide and facilitate the closing of the opening and guarantee a contact and a perfect seal between said parts.
The window frame of this type of window consists of aluminum, wood, PVC or other profiles, with or without in the case of an aluminum profile, a thermal break device, and according to the invention, the orifice (s) are located in said frame in an area which prevents the introduction of rainwater in particular, and in particular in the horizontal outer wing of the lower cross member which forms a return under the outer battue. This position of the orifices or passages also has the advantage of making them invisible when looking at the window from the front, from the outside.
According to an alternative embodiment, the frame of the sash is made of aluminum, wood, PVC or other profiles optionally separated, in the case of an aluminum profile, by a thermal break device, which device is for example made up bars made of thermoplastic material such as PVC, cast resin or the like, which bars have at least one orifice opening into the interleaving zone to ensure pressure balancing; which orifice can receive, for example, a sheath provided with a filter. According to another alternative embodiment, the frame of the sash is made up of mixed profiles: - an internal aluminum profile which notably includes the part used to house the closing hardware ej - an external profile made of thermoplastic material of the PVC or other type , assembled for example on said aluminum profile by means of dovetail section studs; this part made of thermoplastic material comprises at least one orifice opening into the inteπ / itrage zone, which orifice is preferably lined with a sheath with a filter, if desired.
Still according to the invention, the external profile of the mixed frame constituting the opening, forms a sort of closed U-shaped box on the wall of the aluminum profile which is arranged for assembly, which external profile comprises - two parallel branches provided for example each at their end, of a tenon in the shape of a dovetail allowing said assembly of the tenons on the internal aluminum profile, and - a wall which is perpendicular to said branches, which wall, constituting the bottom of the U, comprises a perpendicular wing to form the rebate and a groove-like arrangement, to allow the snap-fastening of the glazing bead of the external glazing, which glazing bead has a section which is in the form of a square and is made for example of thermoplastic material of the PVC type Or other. The parallel branches of the U comprise the pressure balancing orifice (s) of the inteπ / itrage zone relative to the outside.
According to an alternative embodiment, the external profile of the mixed frame of the opening forms a sort of tubular box with a wall on the side of the connecting studs, which wall can be flexible or arranged to absorb a slight variation in the distance between said centers. studs, which profile, preferably constituting the bottom crossmember, is also provided at each of its ends with plugs which make it possible to isolate the zone traversed by the air which communicates between the interleaving zone and the outside of the window.
According to another arrangement of the invention, with a view to improving thermal and acoustic insulation in particular, a sealing barrier is interposed between the frame and the opening forming a separation between the external peripheral chamber which allows communication between the Intertitration area and the outside of the window, and the internal peripheral chamber which is thus isolated from the external atmosphere; this barrier preferably consists of - a ledge projecting from the thermal break device located on the frame and - a lip projecting from the thermoplastic profile constituting the external part of the frame of the opening , which lip is located in the extension of the internal wall of said thermopfastic profile and bears on said edge when the window is closed.
Still according to the invention, the part of the opening frame located between the internal and external glazing, can be masked by means of a covering strip, the ends of which can include glazing joints, which strip is for example produced synthetic material, thermoplastic, rubber or other, which may be of a color suitable for the appearance of the window or French window, interior or exterior, and it comprises the balancing orifice (s) arranged in correspondence with those of said opening frame.
Always for this type of window or French window with hidden opening, it can be interesting to access the inteπtitrage space. According to the invention, the frame of the opening consists of two modules: - an internal module associated with the internal glazing and - an external module associated with the external glazing, and the external face of which is in contact with the beat of the frame, which external module is carried by the internal module and its frame includes the orifice (s) allowing pressure balancing. These modules include an assembly plane which is located in the interleaving zone provided with sealing means, and they are assembled by any appropriate means, screws or hinges plus screws.
According to another arrangement of the invention, taking into account the possibility of balancing the pressures between the inter-glazing zone and the outside, the interval between the glazings is chosen so as to be sufficient to accommodate a system for concealing the like a Venetian blind or something. The window may also include an arrangement at its upper part which constitutes a chest for a blind. This trunk according to the invention comprises at least one profile acting as a wall, which profile can be housed in the upper rebate of one of the glazings and itself include a rebate for receiving the corresponding glazing, thus achieving an offset of the glazing rebate, down. The internal wall of the trunk can also consist of a simple profile fixed by any means suitable for the upper rebate for example, extending downwards by forming a strip or cover whose height corresponds to that of the folded blind.

Figures 1 to 4 show, in the form of functional diagrams, and in vertical section, a window whose internal and external glazing are fixed to the frame of the opening by any appropriate means, glazing beads or the like.
These glazings may indeed, as detailed below in conjunction with FIGS. 25 to 35, be of the type glued to the frame of the opening, either directly or in appropriate rebates. We also note that these internal and external glazing do not necessarily have the same dimensions as required.
Il est caché par la battue 5 du cadre du dormant 1.FIG. 1 shows, in the form of a functional diagram and in vertical section, a window according to the invention which comprises a frame 1, the lower crosspiece and the upper crosspiece of which can be seen; this frame 1 is disposed in an opening of the main structure 2 of a building and this frame receives in its rebate 3, an opening 4 of which we also see the lower cross member and the upper cross member. The frame of the opening 4 is not visible from the outside. It is hidden by the battue 5 of the frame of the frame 1.
L'ouvrant 4 comporte au moins deux feuillures : une feuillure 6 qui accueille un vitrage externe 7 et une feuillure 8 qui accueille un vitrage interneThe opening 4 comprises at least two rebates: a rebate 6 which receives an external glazing 7 and a rebate 8 which accommodates an internal glazing
These glazings are chosen as required, that is to say that they can be simple with different thickness possibilities, or double, as shown in portions in FIG. 1.
The external glazing 7 is for example fixed in its rebate 6 by means of a glazing bead as detailed below in FIG. 5.
In the embodiment of Figure 1, it is noted that the internal glazing 9 can be associated with the frame of the opening 4 in different ways.
At the upper part of the figure, there is a rebate 8 arranged in the thickness of the frame 4 and the glazing 9 is fixed by any suitable means, glazing or gluing.
In the lower part of the figure, the rebate can be opened either towards the inside of the window, or towards the outside and, in either case, the glazing can be fixed by glazing or by gluing . The zone Z between the external glazing 7 and the internal glazing 9, is a zone which communicates with the outside of the window by means of one or more orifices drilled in the frame of the opening 4 and at least one passage in the frame 1.. An arrow indicates the path of the air between the outside of the window and the interleaving zone Z. The air can circulate by means of a passage P arranged between the frame 1 and the opening 4, and one or several orifices 13 arranged in the opening 4.
The passage P between the frame and the opening actually consists preferably of a clearance between the battue 5 and the opening.
As shown in Figure 1, the battue 5 and in particular the battue of the upper cross member of the frame does not have a seal which allows air circulation while avoiding water infiltration.
This passage P is simply carried out by removing all or part of the seal which is interposed between the upper battue and the external glazing 7. The conventional seals remain positioned everywhere else between the frame and the frame of the sash 4 and in particular the seals exterior and interior joints as shown schematically in the figures.
An orifice 13 appears in FIG. 1, arranged in the lower cross member of the frame of the opening 4. By this arrangement, the air circulates in the peripheral chamber which is delimited by the frame 1 and the frame of the opening 4.
Figure 2 shows an alternative embodiment in which the passage arranged in the frame 1 consists of an orifice 12 located under the outer battue 5 of the lower crossmember of said frame, in an area arranged to prevent the penetration of water.
The communication of the interleaving zone Z with the outside of the window takes place by a very short circuit between the orifice 12 and the orifice 13 passing through the lower part of the peripheral chamber.
Figure 3 shows an alternative embodiment in which the orifices 13 of the frame of the opening 4 are arranged for example in the upper cross member and / or in the uprights. In the case of a window with a passage P between the battée of the upper cross member of the frame and the external glazing, there is a direct communication between the interleaving zone Z and the exterior p y a'r the orifice 13 arranged in the upper cross member of the frame of the opening 4. In the case of a passage which consists of an orifice 12, arranged in the lower cross member of the frame 1, under the external buttress 5, the air circulates i in the peripheral chamber for reach either one or more orifices 13 located in the upper cross member of the frame of the opening 4, or one or more orifices 13 arranged in at least one of the uprights of the frame of the opening. The section of the orifice (s) 13 placed in the frame of the opening 4 is chosen, in a conventional manner, to allow the pressures to be balanced between the interleaving zone Z and the outside of the window. This choice is guided by the goal to achieve, namely to offer good thermal insulation while avoiding the risk of fogging and deformation of the glazing. FIG. 4 also shows, diagrammatically, a window, the internal glazing 7 and external glazing 9 of which are sufficiently spaced to allow accommodation of a blackout device S of the Venetian blind type, which improves and strengthens the insulation of the window.
This window which will be detailed later in connection with FIGS. 17 and 18, also includes a sash frame consisting of two modules articulated around an axis X which gives access to the blind in particular.
La figure 5 reprend d'une façon plus détaillée et précise, le mode de réalisation représenté figure 2.FIG. 5 shows in a more detailed and precise manner, the embodiment represented in FIG. 2.
On retrouve le dormant 1 , l'ouvrant 4 avec son vitrage externe 7 et son vitrage interne 9.We find the frame 1, the opening 4 with its external glazing 7 and its internal glazing 9.
It rests on an internal peripheral seal and is held by means of the glazing bead 10.
,The internal glazing 9 is housed in its rebate 8. It rests in the rebate on a peripheral seal and it is immobilized on the other side by means of the glazing bead 11; this glazing bead 11 can be made of aluminum and its section is square. The opening 4 is supported on the beat 5 of the frame as explained above, at its glazing bead 10; this glazing bead is either made of aluminum or made of thermoplastic material and in this case it co.ijiporte, as detailed in document FR-2 723 134, a glazing seal and a battée seal. ,
The frame 1 has at least one passage or orifice 12 and the opening 4 has at least one passage or orifice 13 in order to ensure the circulation of air between the exterior of the building and the zone Z between the glazing 7 and 9 .
La figure 6 montre, vue de dessus, la gaine 14 qui s'emmanche et se verrouille par clipsage dans chaque orifice 13 du cadre de l'ouvrant 4 ; cette gaine 14 renferme avantageusement un filtre 15.FIG. 6 shows, seen from above, the sheath 14 which is fitted and locked by clipping into each orifice 13 of the frame of the leaf 4; this sheath 14 advantageously contains a filter 15.
These orifices 12 are in the form of light with a length which is of the order of five to ten times their width and they are produced by machining on a mortising machine for example.
De préférence, les orifices 12 et 13 sont disposés en vis-à-vis et, pour éviter des remontées d'eau, il peut être intéressant comme représenté figure 8, de former un conduit ou canal continu le long du trajet suivi par l'air qui est susceptible de circuler entre l'extérieur de la fenêtre ou porte-fenêtre et la zone entre les vitrages 7 et 9.Preferably, the orifices 12 and 13 are arranged opposite one another and, to avoid rising water, it may be advantageous as shown in FIG. 8, to form a continuous conduit or channel along the path followed by the air which is likely to circulate between the exterior of the window or French window and the area between glazing 7 and 9.
This circulation channel comprises, as shown in FIG. 8, a part 16 associated with the frame 1 and a part 17 associated with the opening 4.
These two parts 16 and 17 are preferably made of molded plastic material, and they constitute at the same time a sort of spacer whose function is to calibrate the clearance between the opening and the frame. They can also include, one or the other, a filtering element.
The part 16, shown in isolation in FIG. 9, is in the form of a cap which covers the orifice 12 of the frame 1 and its upper partition 19 has an orifice 20 whose shape and size correspond to those of the orifice 13 for example and in particular of the sheath 14.
Des pattes situées à chaque extrémité de la surface 23This part 16 has side tabs 21, which allow its attachment to the profile constituting the frame 1, by screwing, clipping, bonding ... The part 17, shown in isolation in FIG. 10, comprises a peripheral wall 22 which extends under the lower periphery of the sheath 14, forming a single piece. A flat surface 23 makes the junction between the wall 22 and the sheath 14. Legs located at each end of the surface 23
* allow the part 17 to be fixed under the cross member of the opening 4 by means of screws or by gluing.
The upper surface of the wall 19 of the part 16 is in contact with the lower surface of the part 17, which surfaces, which are visible when the window is open, are in intimate contact forming a seal between the frame and the opening.
To facilitate closing the opening, the part 17 includes a kind of ramp 24 arranged at its lower upstream part, connected to the lower part of the wall 22. This ramp 24 allows said part 17 to pass easily over the part 16 The part 16 has, for its part, a rim 25, preferably bevelled, which cooperates with the ramp 24 to guide and facilitate the closing of the opening.
Cette paroi 26 se prolonge vers le haut à l'équerre formant la battue 5.In general, the orifice or orifices 12 arranged in the frame 1 are located in the lower cross member of the latter and in particular in the wall 26 of the groove 27 which extends at the level of the internal end of the switchboard 29 This wall 26 is extended upward at the square forming the battue 5.
The orifices 12 which are arranged in the horizontal wall 26 of the lower cross member of the frame 1, are practically not visible from the outside, and this position also makes it possible to avoid infiltration of runoff water. As shown diagrammatically in FIG. 1, the passage P, in the case of the embodiment represented in FIG. 5, can simply consist in a total or partial removal of the battue joint provided on the glazing bead 10.
These orifices 13 are in fact multiple and are in the form of small orifices passing through the walls 401 and 402 of the frame 4. The junction strip 47 which extends between the external glazing 7 and internal 9 also comprises orifices 13 ′ in correspondence with the orifices 13 of the frame 4.
The glazing 7 is housed in a rabbet 6, FIG. 5, oriented towards the outside of the window and it is held by means of a glazing bead 10 whose section is in the form of a square; this glazing bead 10 is locked in a groove 37 consisting of a peripheral tongue 38 and the wall 39 forming the frame of said rebate 6, which tongue 38 and wall 39 are arranged perpendicular to the wall 40 which forms the bottom of said rebate. A groove 41 on the wall 40 receives the internal seal of the external glazing 7. The glazing 9, whatever it is, that is to say simple or insulating, is housed in a rebate 8 which is also oriented as shown in the figure 5 towards the outside of the window or French window.
The vertical wall 42 which forms the bottom of this rebate constitutes part of the internal surface of the opening, and it has a groove 43 which receives the seal of the internal glazing 9.
The internal glazing 9 is immobilized by means of a glazing bead 11 whose section is in the form of a square. This glazing bead and its seal are located in zone Z between the glazing 7 and 9; it is latched and locked in a groove 44 arranged at the periphery of the wall 45 forming the frame of the rebate 8.
The glazing bead 11 and its glazing joint are adapted according to the type of internal glazing 9 mounted in the rebate 8. This glazing 9 is mounted very tightly so as to guarantee a perfect seal between the interleaving zone and the internal side of the window , i.e. the interior of the building. Still in FIG. 5, it can be seen that the internal surface 46 of the profiles constituting the frame of the opening is masked by means of a joining strip 47 which makes it possible to achieve a continuity of appearance between the interior and the exterior, in particularly in terms of color, over the entire thickness of the opening. This strip is provided with at least one orifice corresponding to the orifice (s) 13.
This junction strip 47 may advantageously include a glazing seal 49 which is integrated in the groove 41 of the wall 40, between the rebate 6 and the internal face of the external glazing 7. This junction strip 47 may also include an elastic bead 50, on the side of the glazing bead 11. This elastic bead 50 is housed in a groove 51 of the frame of the leaf ft so as to be maintained pressed against the internal face of the profile of said frame. Still in FIG. 5, it is also noted that the frame 1 is made up of an assembly of two aluminum profiles: an external profile 52 and an internal profile 53, the two being joined by a joining device 54 which breaks the thermal bridge. This junction device 54 is, in the example shown in FIG. 5 in particular, made up of bars 55, 56 made of thermoplastic material of the polyamide type.
Les figures 11 à 14 montrent des moyens qui permettent d'améliorer l'isolation thermique du cadre de l'ouvrant.FIGS. 11 to 14 show means which make it possible to improve the thermal insulation of the frame of the opening.
In fact, in FIG. 11, the profile constituting the frame of the opening panel 4 comprises - an internal profile 64 made of aluminum which includes the rebate 8 and - an external profile 65 also made of aluminum, which comprises the rebate 6.
These two sections 64 and 65 are connected by means of a thermal bridge breaking device made up of bars 67 made of thermoplastic material.
These bars 67, like the bars 55 and 56 of the thermal break device of the frame 1, have tenons in the shape of a dovetail at their ends, which tenons are crimped in grooves of equivalent shape, arranged on the faces. facing the internal aluminum 64 and external 65 aluminum profiles.
The orifice (s) 13, filled with the sheath (s) 14, are arranged directly in the bars 67 in order to put the intervention zone Z in communication with the outside of the window, passing through the orifice 12 arranged in the frame 1 .
Ce profilé 69 comporte des tenons à section en forme de queue d'aronde, qui sont sertis dans des rainures dudit profilé 64.Note, Figure 11, that the sheath 14 is housed between the two aluminum profiles 64 and 65, in an orifice arranged directly through the bars 67. This sheath 14 is threaded through the top of the cross member and locked or glued. Figures 12 to 14 show alternative embodiments in which the profile constituting the frame of the opening 4 is mixed, produced with the same profile 64 as that shown in Figure 11, that is to say an aluminum profile provided with a rebate 8, and an external profile 69 made of thermoplastic material of the PVC or other type. This external section 69 has a U-shaped section, FIGS. 12 and 12 ′, or a section in the form of a closed tubular box, FIGS. 13 and 14. This section 69 has tenons with a dovetail section, which are crimped into grooves of said profile 64.
The internal face of the profile 69, that is to say its face which is located in the interleaving zone Z, is masked by a strip 47 as detailed previously in connection with FIG. 5.
Les orifices 13 sont aménagés comme figure 12 dans les branches 71 etThe external glazing 7 is fixed in an equivalent manner to the embodiment detailed in FIG. 5, by a glazing bead 10 whose section is in the form of a square. The two parallel branches 71 and 72 of the profile 69 comprise the orifice or orifices 13. These orifices 13 are arranged to receive a sheath 14 with filter, FIG. 12, or alternatively according to the variant of embodiment shown in FIG. 12 ', the orifices 13 are arranged in the form of small orifices in the branches 71 and 72 of the profile 69. In all cases, orifices 13 ′ are arranged in the strip 47 in correspondence with the orifices 13 in the branch 71. FIG. 13 shows an alternative embodiment of Figure 12. The section 69 has a tubular section, that is to say that it is closed by a wall 78 which extends between the branches 71 and 72. This wall 78 is flexible or arranged so as to absorb a variation in center-to-center distance between the connecting studs located at the end of each branch. The orifices 13 are arranged as in FIG. 12 in the branches 71 and
72 et débouchent dans la partie tubulaire du profilé 69.72 and open into the tubular part of the section 69.
A sheath 14 'provided with a filter can be installed in the wall 72 as shown in FIG. 13'.
This profile 69, in the form of a tube, may also have plugs at each of its ends. These plugs isolate the central duct from profile 69. FIG. 14 represents an alternative embodiment of FIG. 13 in which there are in addition the plastic parts detailed previously which make it possible to channel the air which circulates between the outside of the window and the interleaving zone Z. We find the part 16 which is associated with the frame 1 and a part 17 'which is associated with the frame of the leaf 4 and in particular with the part 69. This part 17' is fixed by screw or bonding as previously under the wing 72 of the part 69.
Still for the sake of maximum insulation, as shown in FIG. 13, the thermal bridge breaking device 54 ′ interposed between the profiles 52 and 53 of the frame 1, may include a flange 75 which extends projecting towards the opening, which edge cooperates with a lip 76 which extends under the section 69, which lip is for example obtained directly by spinning or coextrusion. This rim 75 and the lip 76 form a kind of barrier which divides the space between the frame 1 and the opening 4 into two chambers: a chamber 77 for the exterior and a chamber 79 for the interior. This division of space into two separate rooms improves thermal and sound insulation and avoids penetration or upwelling of water towards the internal part of the window or French window. The lip 76 is located for example in the extension of the wall 78 of the profile 69. This wall 78 avoids any contact between the air and the aluminum profile 64 of the frame of the leaf 4 and in particular the surface of this profile which comprises the assembly grooves of the studs of the thermoplastic profile 69.
This insulating barrier consisting of the wall 78, the lip 76, the flange 75 and the thermal break device 54 ′, can be arranged all around the window or French window as mentioned below in connection with FIG. 19 .
Le dormant 1 et le cadre de l'ouvrant 4 sont munis des moyens ci-avant qui permettent de réaliser un équilibrage de pression entre la zone intervitrage Z et l'extérieurFIGS. 15 and 16 show a window made up of the frame 1 detailed previously and whose opening 4 has the particularity of being fixed, that is to say held in position relative to the frame by means other than the hinges and traditional closing hardware. The dormant 1 and the frame of the leaf 4 are provided with the above means which make it possible to achieve pressure balancing between the interleaving zone Z and the outside
This particularity of the fixed opening, as shown in FIGS. 15 and, has the advantage, for a multi-window or multi-window opening, of installing dormant and opening frames all identical both from the outside and from the outside. interior, recognizable, however, for normal doors, by the presence of handles and hinges.
Figure 15 shows a horizontal section on which there are, projecting from the uprights of the frame of the opening 4, means for locking said frame of the opening 4 on the frame. These means consist for example of pins 80 fixed by screws on profiles constituting said frame. These pins 80 cooperate with a rib 82 of the frame.
These pins 80 appear in dotted lines in figure 16, which figure 16 corresponds to a vertical section of the window. They are spaced vertically and are two or three or more depending on the height of the window. These pins 80 are arranged behind the rib 82 which is also shown partly in dotted lines and we note, arranged on this rib 82, notches 83 whose width corresponds at least to the diameter of the pins 80. These notches 83 are shaped and arranged in such a way that they allow the passage of the pins 80 when the door 4 is inserted into the frame 1. After positioning and pressing the door 4 on the frame 1, the frame of the door is moved vertically downwards to place the pins 80 against the outward facing face of the rib 82 of the frame; the pins 80 are then located between the rib 82 and the battue 5.
The radius of the pins 80 is slightly less than the vertical clearance J which exists between the frame of the sash and the frame of the frame 1.
Note, in Figure 16, the presence of parts 16 and 17 associated respectively with the frame 1 and the opening 4. As we have seen previously, these parts 16 and 17 form a sort of channel between the orifice 12 of the frame and the orifices 13 of the frame of the opening, for the ventilation of the interleaving zone Z, and these parts 16 and 17 at the same time produce a sort of spacer which allows the clearance between the opening and the frame to be calibrated.
These parts make it possible, in the case of an opening fitted to a fixed frame, to perfectly center said frame with respect to the frame, during the vertical displacement of said opening with respect to the frame after the pins 80 are snapped onto the back of the ribs 82.
II
In FIG. 16, we notice, placed in the upper cross member of the frame 1, a screw 85 whose nut 86 is trapped in said cross member. This screw 85 constitutes a member for locking the frame in its normal closed and sealed position, avoiding the risk of accidental dismantling. This screw 85 which is preferably permanently on the cross member of the frame is for example simply positioned projecting relative to said frame and extends above the frame of the opening, touching the upper face of the profile.
The arrangements represented in FIGS. 15 and 16 also find their place in the various embodiments detailed previously in the other figures.
Figure 17 shows in vertical section, the upper part of a window or French window according to the invention, provided with means for communicating the interleaving area with the outside. Depending on the interval E between the internal and external glazing, it is possible to house a blackout system S of the curtain type or, as shown in FIGS. 17, 18 and 19, a blind with slats, called a Venetian blind.
This blind can also, as shown in FIGS. 17 and 18, be hidden in the folded position, in a sort of box fitted at the top of the window or French window.
This venetian blind comprises, in a conventional manner, slats 90 guided and held by strings 91 which are themselves carried by a reel 93 fixed to the upper cross member of the leaf 4.
La pareclose 10 est maintenue à sa place comme dans le cas représenté figure 5, verrouillée dans la rainure 37.Figure 17, the blind of the blind consists for the internal part of the window, a simple strip formed by a profile 95 which is fixed on the wall 42 of the rebate 8 of the internal glazing 9. The height of this profile 95 corresponds to the height of the Venetian blind in the folded position. For the exterior, the wall of the trunk consists of a profile 96 which is arranged so that it can be fixed in the rebate 6 in place of the external glazing 7. This profile 96 is, as shown in FIG. 17, attached to the means of screws 97 which pass through the wall 40 of the rebate 6. The glazing bead 10 is held in its place as in the case shown in FIG. 5, locked in the groove 37.
This profile 96 has at its lower end a rebate 6 'which accommodates the upper end of the external glazing 7. This rebate 6' has a groove 99 which allows to snap a glazing bead 100 whose section is square .
This profile 101 is arranged at its upper part to be housed in the rebate 8, fixed by means of screws 103 in the wall 104 of the groove 44. The lower end of the profile 101 has a rebate 8 'which makes it possible to house the upper end of the internal glazing 9. This rebate 8 'has a groove 106 oriented towards the outside of the window, which groove allows the reception and locking of a glazing bead 11 of aluminum for example and whose section is in the form of square, identical to that used for the rebate 8 in FIG. 17.
The blind is controlled by means which do not appear in the figures, either manually by means of a linkage, or electrically with a switch button or even by remote control. It can also be controlled automatically from means of the sensor type.
La figure 19 représente une coupe horizontale d'un montant de fenêtre ou porte-fenêtre à deux battants, laquelle fenêtre est aussi munie de stores vénitiens dont on aperçoit les lamelles 90 dans l'un et l'autre des battants, guidées sur les ficelles 91.FIG. 19 represents a horizontal section of a window upright or French window with two casements, which window is also provided with Venetian blinds of which the slats 90 can be seen in one and the other of the casements, guided on the strings 91.
The profile of the central leaf of the leaf comprises an operating handle 110. This composite profile comprises an internal profile 64 in aluminum which corresponds to the profile of the opening 4 of FIG. 12 and an external profile 69 made of thermoplastic material of the PVC or other type.
The amount of the free leaf also consists of the same composite profile 64, 69 and it is completed by a counter-beam 111 which is made up of several profiles: an external profile 112 which acts as a battue for the leaf with handle, a profile 113 constituting the thermal bridge breaking device, which profile 113 is assembled by means of dovetail-shaped studs on the profile 112 and on a last profile 114 which is part of the said double-beam and which is assembled on the internal profile 64 of the opening. Profiles 112, 114 and 64 are made of aluminum.
Profile 113 has a plane of symmetry which is the vertical plane of the upright perpendicular to the glazing. This profile 113 has flanges 75 located on either side cooperating with lips 76 located on each of the profiles 69 of the leaves. A barrier and a continuity are thus obtained at the level of the thermal break and of the insulation, which continuity is also a continuity of material since all of the sections forming this barrier are made of plastic material of the PVC or other type, both at the central upright and at the periphery. This barrier extends over the entire periphery of each opening frame. It is found at the lower cross member as detailed in Figure 13 and it is also found at the upper cross member.
This barrier is located towards the inside of the window, set back relative to the orifices 13 arranged in the frame of the opening, and whatever the position of these orifices on said frame.
Figures 20 to 24 illustrate a particularity of the opening 4, still provided with means for communicating the interleaving area with the outside.
This opening 4 is fixed by means of a hinge 120 on the frame of the frame 1 and in particular on the internal face. This opening 4 is in fact made up of two modules: an internal module 140 whose frame contains the interior glazing 9 and an external module 141 which carries the external glazing 7.
The two modules are, as shown in Figure 20, secured by means of a hinge 142 which is fixed by screws, for example on the faces 143 and 144 opposite said modules.
This hinge 142 keeps the two modules 140 and 141 open, facilitating access to the internal faces of the external glazing 7 and internal glazing 9 when the window is open.
This particular arrangement also allows access to the ventilation orifice 13 or to the sheath 14 which are arranged in the external module 141, as well as to the blinds, when a blind is installed in the interleaving area.
The two modules are for example assembled on the rest of the periphery by means of screws 145, and the sealing between the two is effected by means of joints or directly by the peripheral strips 47 ′. Figure 21 shows the door in the normal closed position. Note that the internal module 140 includes the hinges 120 as well as the closing handle 121. The external module 141 is located between the internal module and the battue 5 of the frame 1. The assembly plane of the two modules is located in the area interleaving Z. FIG. 21 corresponds to a variant of the opening shown in FIG. 11.
There is in fact at the level of the external module 141, a profile 150 for holding the external glazing 7, a profile 151 also forming a frame which is fixed to the hinge 142 on one side and, on the rest of its periphery, at by means of the screws 145, at the periphery of the frame of the module 140. Between the two sections 150 and 151, there is a device for breaking the thermal bridge consisting of bars 152 made of thermoplastic material. These bars 152 are provided at the level of the bottom cross member, for example, with one or more holes 13, which holes can be fitted with a sheath 14.
Ce profilé aluminium 155 qui forme le cadre du module 141 , est fixé à la charnière 142.FIG. 22 shows a portion of an upright of module 141 according to another alternative embodiment which in fact corresponds to the variant shown in FIG. 12. We find the outer profile 69 made of thermoplastic material of the PVC or other type which supports the external glazing 7. This outer profile 69 is associated with a profile 155 made of aluminum for example, by means of assembly studs. This aluminum profile 155 which forms the frame of the module 141, is fixed to the hinge 142.
La figure 23 montre une fenêtre correspondant à celle représentée figureFigures 23 and 24 show, in vertical section, the windows provided with a blind S of the Venetian blind type in the inteπ / itrage zone Z and whose opening 4 is constituted as detailed above, of an internal module 140 and d an external module 141. FIG. 23 shows a window corresponding to that shown in FIG.
The two modules are formed from aluminum profiles and the external module 141 has one or more orifices 13 with sheath 14.
Les barrettes se situent sur le module externe 141 et elles comportent le ou les orifices 13 avec gaine 14.FIG. 24 shows a window corresponding to the embodiment shown in FIG. 21, provided with a blind and a sash frame with bars 152 for breaking the thermal bridge. The bars are located on the external module 141 and they include the orifice (s) 13 with sheath 14.
Figure 24, la communication entre la zone intervitrage et l'extérieur s'effectue par le canal constitué des pièces 16 et 17 détaillées auparavant, installées entre les orifices 12 et 13.Figure 24, the communication between the interleaving area and the outside takes place through the channel made up of parts 16 and 17 detailed previously, installed between the orifices 12 and 13.
The space between the modules 140 and 141, at the level of the lower cross member and the upper cross member is for example filled by means of plates 160 and 161 forming insulation and sealing.
La figure 25 montre en coupe verticale, la partie inférieure d'une fenêtre comme celle représentée figure 8, avec les moyens de mise en équilibre de la pression de la zone intervitrage 2 par rapport à l'extérieur.FIG. 25 shows in vertical section, the lower part of a window like that shown in FIG. 8, with the means for balancing the pressure of the interleaving zone 2 with respect to the outside.
The inner glazing 4 of this window can also be secured to the frame 2 of the opening by gluing as shown separately in FIGS. 26 to 29.
Figure 26, the glazing is glued to the bottom 42 of the rebate 8. This bottom 42 is located inside the window. FIG. 27 shows the internal glazing 4 positioned inside the window and glued to the bottom 42 ′ of the rebate 8, which rebate is open on the interior of the window.
La figure 28 montre le vitrage 4 collé sur le fond 63 de la feuillure 8, laquelle feuillure 8 est aménagée directement dans l'épaisseur du cadre de l'ouvrant de façon à offrir un clair de vitrage plus important que dans le cas des modes de réalisation des figures 26 et 27.Figure 28 shows the glazing 4 glued to the bottom 63 of the rebate 8, which rebate 8 is arranged directly in the thickness of the frame of the opening so as to provide a greater glazing clear than in the case of the modes of realization of figures 26 and 27.
FIG. 30 shows an alternative embodiment in which the internal glazing 9 is fixed in its rebate by means of a glazing bead which is arranged on the internal side of the window and the external glazing 7 is glued directly to the frame 4 of the opening masking said frame.
La figure 31 montre le vitrage extérieur 7 collé comme précédemment directement sur le cadre 4 de l'ouvrant pour un cadre qui offre un grand clair de vitrage au moyen de la feuillure aménagée dans l'épaisseur sur la face interne dudit cadre.FIG. 31 shows the exterior glazing 7 glued as previously directly to the frame 4 of the opening for a frame which offers a large amount of glazing by means of the rebate arranged in the thickness on the internal face of said frame.
The various exemplary embodiments, FIGS. 26, 29, 30 and 31, show that the interleaving zone Z remains accessible even with the use of either internal glazing 9 bonded or external glazing 7 bonded. In the different cases, one of the panes remains removable. In the case of examples 26 to 29, it is the external glazing which is removable by dismantling its glazing bead 10 and, in the case of FIGS. 30 and 31, the internal glazing 9 is removable by means of its glazing bead 1. Figures 32, 33 and 34 show a vertical section of the lower part of the window for which the frame 4 of the opening is made in two parts: an inner frame 140 and an outer frame 141, the two joined together as shown in Figure 35 by means of a hinge 142.
The internal frame 140 carries the internal glazing 9 and the external frame 141 carries the external glazing 7. The ability to access the interleaving zone Z by opening the frames 140 and 141, makes it possible to envisage mounting the external glazing 7 and internal glazing 9 bonded to each of the frames.
In FIG. 40, it can be seen that the external glazing 7 is glued to the frame 140 of the opening and that this glued glazing 7 is suitable for the various embodiments shown in FIGS. 32, 33 and 34.
In the case of Figures 33 and 34, it is noted that one can associate an external glazing 7 bonded to an internal glazing 9 fixed by means of glazing beads 11 which are located on the internal side of the window. This gives access to the internal space Z between the panes without the need to dismantle said panes.
La figure 32 montre que le cadre interne 140 peut revêtir différents aspects comme représenté figure 36 où le vitrage interne 7 est collé sur le fond 42 de la feuillure 8.FIG. 32 shows that the internal frame 140 can assume different aspects as shown in FIG. 36 where the internal glazing 7 is glued to the bottom 42 of the rebate 8.
Figure 37, comme pour le mode de réalisation décrit en liaison avec la figure 25, le vitrage interne 9 est disposé à l'intérieur de la fenêtre collé sur le fond 42' de la feuillure 8.FIG. 37, as for the embodiment described in connection with FIG. 25, the internal glazing 9 is arranged inside the window glued to the bottom 42 'of the rebate 8.
Figure 38, the internal glazing 9 is glued in a rebate arranged to provide a large clear window.
La figure 39 montre le vitrage interne 9 collé directement sur le contour du cadre interne 140, masquant ce dernier totalement.FIG. 39 shows the internal glazing 9 glued directly to the contour of the internal frame 140, completely hiding the latter.
La figure 41 montre une variante de réalisation du coffre pour le store S, lequel store se développe dans la zone intervitrage Z, c'est-à-dire entre le vitrage externe 7 et le vitrage interne 9.FIG. 41 shows an alternative embodiment of the safe for the blind S, which blind develops in the interleaving zone Z, that is to say between the external glazing 7 and the internal glazing 9.
In the example of FIG. 41, the internal glazing 9 is glued in the rebate 8 against the bottom 42 of the latter.
A strip 95 as in the case of Figure 17, can hide the blind S in its folded position, as necessary.
