Abstract

Woodwork product is made from plastic (PVC) extrusions (2, 3), covered by an inner liner of wood, joined to the plastic extrusions by a clip-on arrangement (7, 9) comprising a U-section extrusion (7) fixed to the wood liner and engaging with a lengthwise plastic support (9) on the frame. The sides of the U-section extrusion have in-turned edges or studs which co-operate with lateral recesses in the support to produce a joint which can be clipped together or separated in the support to produce a joint which can be clipped together or separated as required. The U-section extrusion can be fitted into an inner recess in the wood lining. The lining can be used to hold glass panels in place and have seals for this purpose.
