Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à l'industrie des aliments pour animaux, et concerne plus précisément des procédés permettant de produire des aliments cuits pour animaux qui possèdent une grande durée de conservation, qui sont destinés aux animaux de ferme et aux volailles et qui sont à base de déchets de boucherie non comestibles. Cette invention concerne essentiellement un procédé de production d'aliments cuits pour animaux, lequel procédé permet d'élargir l'éventail des moyens servant à la conservation de ces aliments. Cette invention permet en outre d'accroître la durée de conservation ainsi que les valeurs nutritives des aliments cuits pour animaux. Ce procédé consiste à broyer des matières premières provenant de déchets de boucherie non comestibles, à les soumettre à un traitement thermique, à les dégraisser, à les refroidir et à ajouter un conservateur. On utilise en qualité de conservateur de la tourbe qui possède un contenu en substances sèches d'au moins 18 %. La tourbe est introduite dans l'aliment selon une quantité représentant de 13 à 16 % du poids de l'aliment cuit pour animaux.
