  • the invention relates to a crane vehicle with a telescopic boom, which is composed of several telescopic parts.
  • Such a crane vehicle from Compact Truck AG is known on the market and is mainly used in the construction industry.
  • a crane driver's cab is attached to such a crane vehicle, from which both the crane operation and the driving operation are carried out.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a device with the aid of which the working area of the jib becomes more manageable.
  • the advantage that can be achieved with the invention is that by using an additional crane operator's cab attached to the boom, the control of the crane operation is decoupled from the control of the driving operation.
  • the crane driver's cabin is no longer close to the ground during operation of the crane, but in a higher location, so that areas that cannot be seen from the ground are made visually accessible to the crane operator and e.g. work behind a building roof edge, a correspondingly high wall or in a construction pit or the like can be performed.
  • Such a crane operator's cabin also opens up improved application options when using a luffing jib.
