Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen mit einem Füllmittel gefüllten Kunststoff, der durch Reaktion gefüllter kalthärtender Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmassen gebildet ist. Es soll die Aufgabe gelöst werden, toxische Stoffe derart in Kunstharz zu binden, daß das erhaltene Produkt nicht mehr toxisch ist. Gelöst wird das Problem durch Erzeugung eines Reaktionsproduktes aus einer Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse mit einer Komponente mit stickstoffhaltiger Reaktionsgruppe (insbesondere der NCO-Gruppe) und einer Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse mit einer Komponente mit einer Sauerstoff-Wasserstoff-Komponente (OH-Gruppe) und als Füllmaterial werden Pulver und/oder Granulate mit toxischen Schwermetallen und/oder toxischen organischen oder toxischen anorganischen Verbindungen verwendet.
Description
Mit Füllmittel gefüllter Kunststoff
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen mit einem Füllmittel gefüllten Kunststoff gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Bei derartigen Kunststoffen ist als Füllmittel Kaolin, Asbest, Glasfasern etc. vorgesehen. Die Füllmittel dienen unter anderem dazu, an Kunststoffmaterial einzusparen oder die Festigkeit oder Kärmebeständigkeit zu erhöhen.
Es ist auch bereits vorgeschlagen worden, toxische Stoffe unter anderem auch Gichtstaub und Hochofenschlacke in Kunststoff einzubetten und dadurch zu beseitigen oder deponieren zu können. Dies ist aber bis jetzt nur teilweise gelungen. Aus den mit toxischen Stoffen gefüllten bisher verwendeten Kunststoffen konnten diese jedoch wieder in unzulässiger Menge ausgewaschen oder ausgeschwemmt werden.
Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung soll daher die Aufgabe gelöst werden, einen gefüllten Kunststoff anzugeben, aus dem toxische Stoffe nicht oder nur in zulässig geringen Mengen auswaschbar oder ausschwemmbar sind.
Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe durch die im Kennzeichen des
Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale. Überraschender Weise wurde gefunden, daß die in diesem Kunststoff gebundenen toxischen Schwermetalle wie vor allem Zink, 31ei, Cadmium oder organische Giftstoffe wie z. 3. Dioxin, nach der Reaktion der verwendeten Kunstharze nicht mehr auswaschbar sind, der Kunststoff also nicht toxisch ist.
Dies ist vermutlich darauf zurückzuführen, daß die
Schwermetalle oder andere toxische Verbindungen bei der Reaktion mit als Katalysator wirken und in die Moleküle mit eingebaut werden, z. B. in Form von Cyanaten, Karbiden, Nitriden etc.. Bei Verwendung von Gichtstaub und/oder Hochofenschlacke erhält man durch das darin vorhandene Silizium und den Kohlenstoff außerdem eine Verbesserung vieler physikalischer Werte wie Erhöhung der Bruchfestigkeit und Druckfestigkeit und zum Teil auch der elektrischen Durchschlagfestigkeit, sowie eine sehr gute Wärmeleitfähigkeit. Außerdem ist der erhaltene
Kunststoff umweltfreundlich, da er nicht mehr giftig ist. Aus ihm können daher alle möglichen Gegenstände einschließlich Eßgeschirr hergestellt werden.
Der Anteil des oder der Füllmittel kann bis zu 30 Gew.-% erreichen, ohne daß die angegebenen guten Eigenschaften bedeutend verschlechtert werden. Auf diese Weise können daher jetzt Gichtstaub und Hochofenschlacke, die, auf Halde liegend, laufend Giftstoffe in den Untergrund abgeben, unschädlich gemacht und der Wiederverwendung zugeführt werden.
Die Wirkung beruht offenbar auf der Reaktion der Stickstoff-, insbesondere der XCO-Gruppen des einen Typs der Kunstharzmasse mit den OH-Gruppen des anderen Typs und der gleichzeitigen Reaktion dieser Gruppen mit den
Schwermetallen, wobei ungiftige Verbindungen entstehen.
Als Kunstharzmassen mit stickstoffhaltiger Reaktionsgruppe finden vor allem Cyanat, Isocyanat oder Cyanatgruppen
oder z. 3. Polyurethan, Acryl, Melamin oder Furan oder Mischungen derselben mit Isocyanat Verwendung, Kunstharzmassen mit wenigstens einer reaktionsfähigen OH-Gruppe können z. B. ausgewählt werden aus den Kunstharzmassen auf der Basis der Polyole, Polyester und/oder Polyäther und/oder Epoxide.
Durch geeignete Wahl des Molekulargewichts der verwendeten gießfähigen Kunstharzmassen kann die Viskosität der aushärtbaren Mischung in weiten Grenzen eingestellt werden.
Weiterhin ist die Elastizität des Kunststoffes durch geeignete Wahl von Kunstharzmassen mit mehr oder weniger stickstoffhaltigen und OH-Gruppen in weiten Grenzen von hochschlagfest über schlagfest nach zäh hart bis zäh elastisch variierbar. Dabei bestehet der weichste Kunststoff aus Kunstharzmassen mit jeweils der geringsten Anzahl von z. B. NCO- und OH-Gruppen. Dabei bl.eiben in jedem Fall die nichttoxischen Eigenschaften des erzeugten
Kunststoffs erhalten.
Nachfolgend ist die Wirkung der Erfindung anhand von Versuchsegebnissen dargelegt. Dabei zeigt Tabelle I die Analyse von Gichtstaub typischer Zusammensetzung,
Tabelle II die Schwermetallspuren im Eluat kurz nach Herstellung des Kunststoffes, Tabelle III nach 10 Tagen und Tabelle IV nach 20 Tagen. Dabei ist anzumerken, daß < 0,02 ppm Zn die Nachweisgrenze für Zn, < 0,05 ppm PB diejenige von Blei und < 0,0002 ppm Cd diejenig von
Cadmium ist.
Wie aus den Tabellen ersichtlich, sind nur sehr geringe, nicht mehr gesundheitsschädliche Mengen an Schwermetallen nachweisbar.
Zu Tabelle I ist noch zu bemerken, daß die ölbestandteile z. T. in Form von Dioxin vorliegen. Als Einsatzbebiete des Kunststoffs können unter anderem folgende in Frage kommen:
Kabelvergußmaterial (z. B. für Kabelköpfe), Tankstellenabdichtungen (öl- und benzinbeständig), Kellerabdichtungen, Kanalisationsrohr-Isolation, Kläranlagenauskleidung, Flachdachrestaurierung, Neudächer im Flachbereich, Pfannenziegel als Gießform, Öltank-Außenummantelungen, "Gußasphalt", Fußbodenausgußware, Balkongeländer, Transportbandrollen, laufrollen anstelle von Ultramitmaterialien, Gehäuse für moderne elektronische Artikel (Radios etc.), Kohlebunkerauskleidungen, Waggon/Stückgutauskleidungen, Unterbodenschutz; schiefe Ebene beschichten: 1. als Gleitfläche, 2. als Stumpffläche, Absperrungen um Brüstungen, Raupenglieder für Nutzfahrzeuge bzw. Panzer, Vollmaterialstreifen für Gabelstapler, Isoliermaterial für Heizungsrohre, Trägermaterial für Fußbodenheizungen oder Dachheizungen, (Solartechnik), Eisenbahnschwellen, Straßenlöcher-Ausbesserungsmaterial, Spurrillen-Ausbesserungsmaterial, Siloisolierung, Fundamentisolierungen, Isolationskörper in der Elektroindustrie.
Die Herstellung des neuen Kunststoffes erfolgt so, daß das Füllmittel in eine Komponente oder Kunstharzmasse, z. B. diejenige mit den N-Gruppen, eingerührt wird und diese Mischung mit der anderen Kunstharzmasse, z. B. mit den OH-Gruppen, als Zweikomponentengebinde in den Handel gebracht werden kann. Nach Mischung der beiden Bestandteile tritt dann die gewünschte Reaktion und Aushärtung zu dem neuen Kunststoff ein.
Claims
1. Mit Füllmittel gefüllter Kunststoff, der durch Reaktion gefüllter kalthärtender Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmassen gebildet ist,
gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
- er besteht aus dem Reaktionsprodukt aus
- wenigstens einer Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse mit zumindest einer Komponente mit mindestens einer stickstoffhaltigen Reaktionsgruppe (insbesondere NCO-Gruppe) und
- wenigstens einer Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse mit zumindest einer Komponente mit mindestens einer reaktionsfähigen Sauerstoff-Wasserstoff-Kompnente (OH-Gruppe) und
- das Füllmittel besteht aus einem Pulver und/oder Granulat, das toxische Schwermetalle und/oder toxische organische und/oder toxische anorganische Verbindungen enthält.
2. Kunststoff nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Füllmittel aus Gichtstaub und/oder Hochofenschlacke besteht.
3. Kunststoff nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bis zu 80 Gew.-% Füllmittel zugesetzt ist.
4. Kunststoff nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens eine der Mehrkomponenten- Kunstharzmassen ein Cyanat oder Isocyanat ist oder die Cyanatgruppe (NCO) enthält.
5. Kunststoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse mit der bzw. den stickstoffhaltigen
Reaktionsgruppe (n) wenigstens eine der Verbindungen Polyurethan, Acrylharz, Melamin und/oder Furan
enthält oder daraus besteht.
6. Kunststoff nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse mit reaktionsfähigen OH-Gruppen ein Polyester und/oder Epöxid und/oder Polyäther ist.
7. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kunststoffes gemäß
einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das toxische Füllmittel in die eine der Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse eingerührt wird und dann die andere Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmasse zugemischt und damit beide miteinander und mit der Füllmasse zur Reaktion gebracht werden.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Härte des Reaktionsproduktes durch Verwendun von Mehrkomponenten-Kunstharzmassen mit unterschiedlicher Anzahl von OH-Gruppen und stickstoffhaltigen Reaktionsgruppen der einzelnen Kunstharzmassen eingestellt wird, wobei die Menge der Kunstharzmassen und die Anzahl der Gruppen jeweils so gewählt wird, daß eine vollkommene oder nahezu vollkommene Absättigung der Gruppen erreicht wird.
