  • Known ski waxing devices have the disadvantage that fuel, e.g. in the form of fuel paste or dry alcohol and a lighter must be taken separately.
  • a ski waxing device is known from French patent application 2 353 793, in which a gas burner with a connecting piece is mounted on a gas cartridge. With the gas burner, an egg is heated for waxing the ski. The device is voluminous and is not suitable for taking with you, for example on ski tours.
  • a device for coating the ski running surface with wax is previously known from French patent application 2,341,373. For this purpose, a container for holding a solid granulate is provided. Abstract
