Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a roller ski-like sports device, with a step plate carrying a binding per foot of a user, which is supported on the ground by means of a wheel.
  • roller skis are closely based on cross-country skis and consist of a relatively long ski body, to which pairs of rollers are attached at both ends, as well as a cross-country binding in the middle. Furthermore, the rollers are provided with a relatively complicated device for blocking the return.
  • Roller skis of this type can only be used on relatively flat, paved paths, so they do not allow you to run across open terrain, such as meadows or forest paths.
