Definitions
- the present invention relates to a roller ski-like sports device, with a step plate carrying a binding per foot of a user, which is supported on the ground by means of a wheel.
- roller skis are closely based on cross-country skis and consist of a relatively long ski body, to which pairs of rollers are attached at both ends, as well as a cross-country binding in the middle. Furthermore, the rollers are provided with a relatively complicated device for blocking the return.
- Roller skis of this type can only be used on relatively flat, paved paths, so they do not allow you to run across open terrain, such as meadows or forest paths.
- roller ski-like sports device of the aforementioned type which can be used in open terrain and independently paved paths and which represents a simulator with which training conditions such as cross-country skiing can be produced.
- the tread plate has at least approximately the length and width of a cross-country binding arrangement or the like, and is supported on both sides of its longitudinal edges on a wheel arrangement which comprises an outer ring rolling on the ground , which rotates relative to an inner ring with which the tread plate is firmly connected, at least one anti-return device acting on at least one of the outer rings of the wheel arrangement.
- the wheel arrangement consists of an outer ball or roller bearing ring, a ball or roller cage and an inner ball or roller bearing ring.
- the running comfort is further increased by the fact that the outer ring has tires.
- the return inhibition comprises at least one brake plate which is arranged laterally on the outside of the wheel arrangement and extends at least over the wheel circumference area above the tread plate, which in the circumferential area of the rotating plate Outer ring one against the front Outer ring protruding brake pad, which cooperates with a corresponding brake pad on the front side of the outer ring, it being advantageous if the brake pads are anti-return scales.
- At least one of the brake pads is made of a rubber-elastic material, the brake plate then being controllably pressable against the preloading action of the rubber-elastic brake pad on the wheel arrangement.
- the aforementioned measures according to the invention permit the design of a roller ski-like sports device that meets all of the conditions presented for a simulator for cross-country skiing.
- the roller-ski-like sports device allows free choice of terrain for the run and, with a safe return inhibition, easy and arbitrary adjustment of the rolling resistance by more or less pressing the brake plate against the brake lining of the outer ring.
- the roller ski-like sports device according to the invention is very robust, easy to maintain and of simple and therefore inexpensive affordable design.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic side view, partly in section, of the roller ski-like sports device according to the invention.
- FIG. 2 in a schematic plan view, partly in section, the arrangement according to Fig. 1;
- FIGS. 1 and 2 shows a schematic front view of the arrangement according to FIGS. 1 and 2;
- FIGS. 1 to 3 shows a section of the arrangement according to FIGS. 1 to 3 in a diagram-like representation and on a larger scale to illustrate the return inhibition
- FIG. 5 is a diagram-like representation of an embodiment variant of the sports device according to the invention.
- the roller ski-like sports device initially comprises a so-called tread plate 9, which corresponds to the ski body of a cross-country ski, and which has a cross-country
- OMPI binding 10 with associated heel pad 11 carries.
- the tread plate 9 is hardly longer and wider than this binding arrangement 10, 11.
- this tread plate 9 is now supported on the inside of an inner ring 4, one wheel arrangement 1 or 1 'each in an area below and parallel to a horizontal plane through the pivot point of the relevant one. Wheel arrangement and is preferably welded there.
- the inner ring 4 mentioned is an inner ball or roller bearing ring of a ball or roller bearing with an outer ball or roller bearing ring 2 and a ball or roller cage 3.
- Such arrangements are able to absorb the radial forces that occur and are characterized by their ability to turn and a long service life.
- Each outer ring 2 advantageously carries a tire in the form of a hard rubber covering 5 or pneumatic tires or the like.
- a so-called anti-return device 6, 7, 8 is provided, which here comprises a brake plate 7 on the respective outside of each wheel arrangement 1 or 1 ', which is clearly shown, as shown in FIG. 1 , extends over the wheel circumference area above the tread plate 9.
- Each brake plate 7, as illustrated in particular in FIG. 4 has in the circumferential area of the rotating outer ring 2 a brake lining 8 protruding on the end face against the outer ring, which cooperates with a corresponding brake lining 6 on the end face on the outer ring 2.
- brake linings 6 and 8 are designed as anti-return scales or clapboard or pine cone linings and are preferably made of a rubber-elastic material in order to produce an additional braking effect to regulate the rolling resistance when the linings are pressed against one another.
- each brake plate 7 can be pressed against the preloading action of the rubber-elastic brake pads 6 and 8 in a controllable manner on the wheel arrangement 1 or 1 '.
- each brake plate 7 is preferably three Set screws on the inner ring 4 or on the outer side edge of the tread plate 9 (FIG. 1) and lockable by means of wing nuts 12 or the like.
- the roller ski-like sports device according to the invention has a very robust and dimensionally stable structure with a low center of gravity and wheels large enough for the open terrain.
- the structure is also relatively simple and therefore very inexpensive.
- the sports device according to the invention fulfills all the requirements to be placed on a simulator for training cross-country skiing.
- the roller-ski-like sports device allows free choice of terrain for the run and, with a safe return inhibition, easy and arbitrary adjustment of the rolling resistance, which simulates different track ratios.
- each outer ring is formed by a spoke wheel 2 1 , which is supported centrally via a hub 13 on a hub plate 4 'protruding from the tread plate 9'.
- the tread plate 9 ' can be extended to the rear and extend beyond the wheel rims and carry a support roller 15 at the free end.
