Abstract
En un método para preparar celulosa nanofibrilar, se pasa varias veces una dispersión fibrosa de ce lulosa iónicamente cargada por un proceso mecánic o de rompimiento de las fibras para convertirlas en fibrillas hasta que la viscosidad comienza a d escender. El diámetro medio de la celulosa nanofi brilar después del proceso mecánico se ubica en el intervalo de 2 a 10 nm, y la viscosidad con corte cero es inferior a 10 Pa?s, preferentemente inf erior a 1 Pa?s, cuando se la mide en la concentra ción del 0,5% en peso. La celulosa nanofibrilada es celulosa nanofibrilada con baja relación de as pecto (NFC-L).
