DESlGN FOR HEATlNG-STOVES.
Specification forming part of Deslgn No. 0,079, dated November 4, 1873; application filed July 29, 1873. [Term of Patent 7 years.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, J OHN MAGEE, of Chelsea, in the county of Sufi'olk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stove, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description,reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making part of this specification.
This invention consists in an ornamental design for the base of a stove, and also in the design for the frame of the door through which the fuel is introduced.
In the drawing, A represents the upper or main portion of the store, which is of oval form in cross-section, and rests upon the base B, at each corner of which are three columns or pillars, b. On the sides of the base B, between the pillars b of two contiguous corners, is a representation, a, of one or more figures in bass-relief; but, if preferred, these representations may be omitted, and the sides of the base left plain. C is the door, through the opening controlled, by which the fuel is introduced into the stove, and D is the frame to which the door is pivoted. At each Side of the frame I) is a. column or pillar, d, the top of the frame being surmounted by ornamental scroll-work, e, the style or design of this door-frame being intended to correspond with that of the base B.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. The design for the base B of an ovalshaped or cylindrical stove, consisting essentially of the pillars b at its corners, substantially as herein shown and described.
2. The design for the door-frame D of a stove, consisting of the pillar d at each side, substantially as herein shown and described.
