DESIGN FOR AN ADVERTISING-FRAME.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,746, dated July 8, 1873; application led May 21, 1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, MORLEY M. BURN- HAM and JOSEPH B. OAKS, of Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga and State of New York, have invented a Design for an Adver- Using-Frame, of which the following is a specication:

The nature of our design is fully represen ted in the accompanying drawing, to which reference is made. f

A represents the glass or mirror, which oc copies the center or middle portion of the frame. The frame is constructed with compartments or spaces, shown by figures 1 to 25, and located on each side of and above the mirror. They are uniform in size, except Nos. 1, 2, and 3, the first of which exceeds in size any of the others, and occupies the center ol' the frame above the glass. It is constructed with an arched top. Nos. 2 and 3 are located,

respectively, on the right and left of No. 1, also above the glass, and di'er slightly in shape from all the others, as shown. The top of' the frame is surlnounted in its center with an ornamental scroll, C, also at its ends and intermediate points with ornamental posts d, c, and g. Appropriate ornaments are also attached to the sides of the frame, as shown.

The distinctive character of our design consists in its peculiar shape and ornamentation, as shown.

What we claim as our invention is- The design for an advertising mirror-frame, the compartments for business-cards whereof are shaped and disposed as shown.
