DESIGN FOR A CUT STONE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,142, dated November 18, 1902.
Application filed October 4, 1902. Serial No. 125,995. Term of patent 14 years.
To atZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ST. JOHN WOOD, of New York, in the county of New York, and in the State of New York, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for a Out Stone; and I do hereby declare that the following is afull, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in Which Figure 1 is a plan View of a cut stone enibodying my invention, and Fig. 2 a side elevation of the same.
The object of my invention is the production of a new, original, and ornamental design for a cut stone; and to this end my invention consists in the design fora out stone, substan tially as herein specified.
My design, viewed in plan, comprises a circular series of triangular or three-sided figures a, which radiate from the center of the stone, the pointed ends of the figures meeting at the stone-center, and a second circular series of quadrilateral figures Z7, that also radiate from the center of the stone,alternating with the three-sided figures a. The figures I) extend beyond the figures a, and radiating from between the extended portions of adjacent figures b and reaching to the girdle of the stone is a circular series of pentagonal figures 0, two sides thereof converging to a point that meets at the girdle of the stone. Lying between the points of each adjacent pair of figures c is a pair of triangular figures 61.
Having thus described myinvention, what I claim is- The ornamental design for a cut stone, substantially as herein shown and described.
