DESIGN FOR A BLANK FOR EAR-SPECULUM BLADES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 35,498, dated December 31, 1901.
Application filed November 9. 1901. Serial No. 81,757. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it may cmwern:
Q Be it known that I, HERCULES PEDRETTI, a
citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design fora Blank forEar-Speculum Blades,of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, and in which- Figure lis a front View, and Fig. 2 an edge View, of the blank.
The design consists of the outline shape or configuration shown in the drawings of the blank, from two of which the blades of the speculum are produced. The shape or configuration comprises a shank of irregular outline and a blade, and its leading feature may be said to be the symmetrically-curved outline of the blade illustrated in the drawings.
In the drawings, d is the shank, outwardly curved or bulged intermediate of its ends, as at b c, and also inwardly curved, as at d.
e is the blade. Its end is rounded, and its sidesfand f diverge from each other as they approach their union with the shank,and they are symmetrically curved and arranged in respect to the median line of the blade.
' Vhat I claim is- The design for a blank for an ear-speculum blade, substantially as shown and described.
