SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,340, dated April 9, 1901.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, CHARLES J. FILLING, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Blank for a Speculum Blade and Handle, of which the following is a i'ull,clear, and exact description reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view, and Fig. 2 is a side view, of a blank.

My invention consists in the design,in novel external outline, plannlar shape, or configuration shown, of the blank from which the upper operating blade and handle of a bivalvular speculum is produced. The blank is of irregular outline. The side lines thereof, com- CHARLES J. PILLING.
