DESIGN FOR A LAClNG-STUD BLANK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,819, dated July 23, 1901.
Application filed May 27,1901. Serial No. 62,172. Term of patent 14 years.
5 Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Lacing-Stud Blanks, of which the following is a specication.
My invention relates to lacing-stud blanks for shoes and like articles; and my object is 1o to produce a new and original design for the same which is both useful and ornamental.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure lis a perspective view, Fig. 2 is a side View, and Fig. 3 is a top plan view,of a lacing-stud blank As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a straight fiat body portion tapering toward a point at one end and provided at its opposite zo end with two substantially straight and parallel spurs, extending about at right angles to its faces, and a central longitudinal linger, provided with a spur, said finger forming a junction with a body portion between and in 25 alinement with the junction therewith of the rst-named spurs, the spur of said linger projecting in the same general direction as the spurs which project directly from the body portion.
Referring to the drawings in detail, l designates the straight Iiat and tapering body portion; 2, the point-ed or narrow end thereof; 3 the rear or wide end of the body portion; 4, the central and longitudinally-extending fin ger projecting from the rear or wide end of said body portion; 5, the spur at the rear end of said finger, and 6 the spurs which project directly from the rear end of the body portion at opposite sides of the linger where it joins said body portion, these spurs 5 and 6 projecting from the saine side and in the same general direction.
Having thus described the invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a. lacing-stud blank, sub-- stantially as herein shown and described.
