SPECIFICATION foiniifig part of Design No. 29,644, dated November 8, 1898. Application filed March 12, 1898. Serial No. 673,678. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK A. DAVIDSON, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Carton- Blank, of which the following is a specification.
Reference is had to the accompanying drawing, which is a plan View of the cardboardblank from which the carton is made.
'As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the peculiarly-shaped blank for a carton, the carton formed from the blank having the shape of a truncated rectangular pyramid.
One of the longer sides of the rectangular portion a forms the longer parallel side of the trapezoidal portion a, and the other of the longer sides of the rectangular portion a forms the longer parallel side of the trapezoidal portion a. The non-parallel sides of the trapezoidal portion a form each, respectively, one side of the two trapeziform-flaps a and the non-parallel sides of the trapezoidal portion a form each, respectively, one side of the the longer parallel sides of the flaps a the other two sides of which adjacent thereto are curved, as shown.
What I claim is- The design for a carton-blank, as herein shown and described.
