DESIGN FOR A PADLOCK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,778, dated December 25, 1900.
Application tiled October 26, 1900. Serial No. 34,507. Terni of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL R. SLAYMAKER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident. 0f Lancaster, in the county of Lancaster and State ofPennsylvania, haveinvented and produced a new and original Design for Padlocks, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The drawing is a perspective view showing my new design.
As illustrated in the drawing, the leading or material features of my design consist inthe peculiarly-shaped case A and the shackle A'. The case comprises an upper section B, rectangular in outline, and a lower section D,
the sides whereof taper from the lower portion of said upper section downward to an edge, being, as it were, wedge-shaped, and in an end of upper section Bis an opening E.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a padlock, as herein shown and described.
