DESIGN FOR A CASING FOR GENERATORS.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, EDWARD P.WAGGONER, of Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga, in the State of New York, have invented and produced a new and useful Design fora Casing for a Generator, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings,showing a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective View showing the front face and one of the sides of acasing for a generator embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a similar View illustrating the rear face and said side of the casing, and Fig. 3 is a side elevation of said casing.

The leading and essential features of my design consist of the top A, formed substantially rectangular in shape and having the upper portions of its upright faces extended or curved toward each other, the substantially rectangular body B, having the corners of its upright faces curved in cross-section and the upper portions of said faces extended or curved toward each other and united to the lower portions of the upright faces of the top A, and the base 0, formed substantially rectangular in cross-section and having its upright faces flared outwardly toward their lower edges and formed with longitudinally fluted or corrugated corners.

The top A is substantially rectangular in shape and is distinguished from the body B by being formed of less width and length than the upper face of said body. The upper portions at of the upright faces of the top A are extended or curved toward each other, and the lower portions or of said faces are flared outwardly from each other.

The base C is formed substantially rectangular in cross-section and is provided with an ornamented border 0 at its lower edge. The upright faces of the base C are formed with figured ornamentation o and flare outwardly toward the border 0. The corners of the base C are fluted or corrugated longitudinally and also flare outwardly toward the border 0.

A casing for a generator embodying my design presents a characteristic and pleasing appearance.

What I claim is The design for a casing for a generator, substantially as shown and described.
