To all whom, it may concern:

Be it known that I, PHILIP S. BRINDLE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Golumbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gas-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a front elevation of a stove having my new design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the burner-back at, having a tapering or substantially keystone shape and provided With a rough surface. This burner-back rises from a horizontal stove-base and is surmounted by a seniidolne-shaped top plate I), the latter hav ing a flaring base-skirt on its front and sides, as indicated at 0, Between the corner por- Lions of the top plate I) and similar portions of the base d are frame-standards 6. Supported between the standards 6 at the front is an ornamental frame of sorollwork f, similar scroll-frames g extending between the standards e at the sides.
