DESIGN FOR A GAS-STOVE,
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,738, dated February 1 1, 1902. Application filed January 8, 1902. Serial No. 88,934. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM J. SCHWARZ, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gas-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a perspective front View of my newly-designed gas-stove, and Fig. 2 an end View thereof.
As shownin the drawings,the leading or material feature of my newly-designed gas-stove comprises a bottom horizontal base portion a, a top horizontal base portion 1), Vertically-arranged cylindrical members c, and a horizontal top portion cl, which is placed on the vertically-arranged cylindrical members 0 and which is provided with a flaring base 01 a vertical front portion d and a back portion d", which is segmental in cross-section. The bottom base portion a is provided with lugs a and the sides thereof are curved in cross-section, as shown at a said base portion being narrower at the top than at the bottom, while the top base portion 1) at the front and back is curved or segmental in cross-section, as shown at b and the vertically-arranged members c are provided with openings 0 and the top portion or member 01 is also provided with openings d and a segmental ornamental plate d. The bottom base member a is also provided at the front thereof with openings a and the ends and sides thereof are flared outwardly and downwardly, as shown at a and the ends of the top base portion 1) are verti cal, while the top surface thereof is flat and uniform throughout.
