DESIGN FOR A HORSES HOE-CALK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,345, dated March 13, 1900.
Application filed February 16, 1900. Serial No. 5,537x Term of patent 14: years.
To a whom it may concern:
. Be it known that LWILLIAM EDWARD 00T- TRELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Tipton, in the county of Cedar and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Horseshoe-Oalk, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and useful design for a horseshoe-calls; and the essen- 3 tial features reside in a compound elliptical body of tapered form having a curved head intermediate of said body and a cylindrical shank and lower conical projections.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective 5 view of a horseshoe-calk embodying the features of the design. Fig. 2 is a horizontal section on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1 looking in the direction of the arrows.
The numeral 1 designates a tapered oomponnd elliptical body having diametrically- 20 disposed entrant angular recesses 2. The body 1 has a curved edge 3, which projects over the same, and from the side of the head opposite that with which the bodyl connects a cylindrical shank 4 extends, and from the 25 lower reduced portion of the body 1 project conical teeth 5.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is The design for a horseshoe-calk, herein 0 shown and described.
