UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
JEFFERSON GORDIN, OF SEARSBOROUGH, IOIVA.
DESIGN. FOR A HARNESS-SLIDE o.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,730, dated November 29, 1898.
Application filed October 24,1898. Serial No. 694,481. Term of patent l years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JEEEEEsoN GoEDIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Searsborough, in the county of Poweshiek and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Harness-Slide D; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
This invention relates to new and useful designs for harness-slide Ds and it consists of the configuration of the unitary device hereinafter set forth.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of the D, looking toward the front thereof. Fig. 2 is a similar view looking toward the rear of the D. Fig. 3 is a central longitudinal vertical section of the device.
Referring to the drawings, wherein similar numerals are utilized to indicate corresponding parts in the several views, the numeral 1 designates the main body of the D, which is substantially V-shaped and has two fiat sides 2 with curved edges The said body of the D also has a front bifurcation or opening 4:, the walls of which are curved, and connecting the parts of the D at the location of this bifurcation are bars 5, 6, and 7, which follow as to their positions the general curvature of the bifurcation, and the bar 0 is cancavoconvex, as clearly shown by Fig. 3. The outer surfaces of the bars 5 and 7 are also concave. and connecting the front-ends of the sides 2 are cross-bars 8, which slightly taper toward their outer terminations. The opposite sides 2 converge toward the rear and merge into a rounded loop 9.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is- The design for a harness-slide D, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
